I placed an order for pick-up last weekend with my boyfriend while visiting the area and our worst mistake was only coming once. We both ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a Portuguese roll and two coffees. When we arrived the staff was SO warm and welcoming, and made sure to verify the order upon picking it up.
By the time we got to our destination the sandwiches were still hot and stillllll had an incredible cheese pull upon opening the sandwiches! Also probably the BEST iced chai I've had in a long time!!
They also left this cute little note on the bag that we didn't even notice until we opened the bag, 6 stars!!

Sitting down for yet another amazing omelet inspired me to write a review. This place is like Cheers for coffee and breakfast. Their breakfast and coffee is second to none. If you have never been to this hidden gem its a must stop in Wappingers.

This was our first visit to Ground Hog, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Coffee was hot, strong, and smooth, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was bright and cozy, and our servers were friendly and attentive! And as a queer couple we felt warmly welcomed. Thank you!

Mike our server was great. We loved the cozy atmosphere and fun decor. The food was great! The pulled pork sandwich was amazing! We highly recommend this place. Eat local & support local at The GroundHog.

Grandson was running in the Cross country race in Wappingers Falls. Saw the GH, turned around to grab something before the race. Wow! So glad we did. We all had great food and their coffee was excellent. Owners and staff were very warm friendly people. Breakfast sandwich was just incredible. Now if they would just move this to Fort Myers...

The omelette are the best I’ve had, so loaded. Decor is vintage and worth a look if your not from New England.
