Joe Sent Me

I came here on a Friday at 10:30pm because it was the only place serving food after 9:45 in like a 10 mile area. Mass. is truly lame that way compared to NJ where every bar serves food till at least midnight. Anyhow,, the atmosphere was great. Great for sports watching and nice decor. The food was really good and a good beer selection. Not too crowded - the service was awesome. If I lived close by, I would come back regularly. Fortunately, I can get a burger pretty much at any bar in NJ late night ;-)

This place has never let me down and I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I found this place on my 21st birthday when I tried to eat/ get my first drink at nearly 6 restaurants and none were available. We stumbled on this place because I needed a drink- my first legal drink- after the let-downs throughout the night. I not only had my first drink, but fell IN LOVE with the Buffalo chicken dip. Since this eventful night, I’ve come back a few times a month and it is ALWAYS CONSISTENT: service, Buffalo chikky dip and overall experience. JSM has a special place in my heart and I always look forward to the next time i bring a friend to have a beer and chikky dip. The owner is usually there and interacts with everyone— I’ve never felt more at home out-of-state than when I am here(I go to school here, originally from Jersey). Thank you Joe Sent Me and Jose (master of Buffalo chikky dip) for the phenomenal experience every time!!

Staying at the Courtyard Marriott which is about 3 miles from Joe Sent me on Main Street. Decided to try something along the lines of bar/pub food and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food at Joe Sent Me. Ordered pickled chicken fingers with a honey mustard sauce and the Cast Away burger with bacon, cheese and thousand island dressing. The chicken fingers were moist and tasty and included a pickle. The Cast Away burger was huge and included a pickle and fries, and definitely better than any 5 Guys and rivals burger bars. There is seating on one side of the restaurant and a bar on the other side. This is not the place for healthy food but definitely 5 stars for comfort food.

It is my work lunch place. Once a week for years, sometimes twice. Good beer. Good burgers, wraps, steak tips, and other pub food. Diablo wings have a good, satisfying burn. Don't expect fast food service. The kitchen is tiny, but it does come. During nice weather the outside deck is great. Overall, it is a great place to take your time and enjoy a long lunch with your mates.
