The Wooden Spoon

Had a lovely dinner here with family a few days ago. Staff was attentive and food was served pretty quickly from ordering. We were given a nice, fresh basket of hot bread with some great olive oil to start off. Appetizers were tasty, had the mini meatballs which were delightfully tender and flavorful, and a selection of other fried items. Had the New York Strip steak which was cooked perfectly and served sizzling on my plate. Overall great experience and would recommend a visit.

SAFE Review Service: was really good. We were seated immediately and also served welcome bread. Waitress was very attentive, though there were a couple of moments when we were looking for her. However, her colleagues were also keeping an eye for each other and checking often if we needed anything. The food came within a normal waiting period. Ambience: cozy and elegant, giving it a home vibe. A place where you can have a nice family get together, but can have a business meeting too. Food: delicious. We have eaten here a few times and each time it was mostly a pleasant experience. The only two dishes I have not liked so far are the Grilled Sausage with Broccoli Rabe which was too sour to the taste and the Halibut which did not have flavor going in beyond the peripheral. The White Truffle pizza is something one must try. The Pan Seared Scallops over risotto was delicious. Experience: Overall a good experience. Definitely a place to hang out with the family. It is ideal for a dinner get together. Lunches are usually rushed, especially during a work week - here you want to sit in and enjoy your time.

Wife and I came here for an Anniversary dinner. We sat out on the patio, which is chill, but a bit of noise from the parking lot that it backs up to. Service was good. Food was decent but didn't wow my wife or I's socks off. Maybe a bad night, as my coworker's wife swears by this place.Try for your self and make a determination.
