We just spent 4 nights at the coach makers arms. As soon as we entered the building we were made to feel welcome. Fabulous friendly atmosphere, we were shown to our room, which was nicely decorated and lovely and clean. Plenty of piping hot water, lovely comfortable bed, white fluffy towels and added bonus of a small fridge. Nothing was too much trouble. We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we would highly recommend and when in Wallingford we would definitely stay again.

We went in to watch Mystery at the end of a brilliant weekend at Bunkfest. There was no room to sit near the band but we could hear them from the incredibly comfy leather sofa inside.

Great pub in the tradition of English ale houses - they are in dwindling supply. Clientele friendly, warmly welcoming and open. Plenty of genuine conversation and humour. Beer excellent - clean pipes. Sausage and mash terrific. Service swift. As Michelin would say: "vaut le voyage" - go out of your way to make a special visit.

Clean, comfortable room with a big bed and lovely bathroom. Landlady was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast not included in my stay and I left early so didn’t try.

We had a nice meal at The Coachmakers Arms last night. It is a lovely friendly pub with a good choice of wines (including Prosecco by the glass 🥂). Our group had halloumi fries (delicious, and home), made pizza, pasta and burrito which we all really enjoyed. The only downside (hence the 4 stars) is they didn't do any desserts. I had the small pizza so I could fit in a dessert so was disappointed. Overall though we really enjoyed the evening and highly recommend it.

Extremely clean and tidy and well presented pub. Food delicious and good quantity, very friendly staff and locals are welcoming with a nice outside beer garden. Also have rooms to rents which are also beautifully decorated and comfortable. I recommend this place 100%

We spent a lovely evening and overnight here. A real welcome when we arrived. Great service and attention to detail. Lynn and her staff were lovely. Rooms were spotless, linen great. Supper in the bar and breakfast were fab. The homemade pizzas are perfect, we would highly recommend. Breakfast included in our stay was tasty and hot. Thanks for everything 🙏
