Hard Hat Cafe Ii

North haven hard hat much better than Wallingford Hard Hat cafe Wallingford Today I placed an order of food for pickup, what a dismal display of food. As you can see from the pictures there is very poor food portion size and quanity As I've re commended in many of my post, containers are available to mitigate steam and moisture. As many of you know take out foods deteriorates the longer they sit in a closed container filled with steam and moisture. We all know this , but seems the cooks in the kitchen dont here at hard hat wallingford. I also do not appreciate being called " hun" sweetie" etc by the wait staff. I also do not appreciate a combative attitude when I'm making a complaint and being told I m wrong. I believe the management of the wallingford hard hat should re evaluate their business model. My last comment is that my dear life long friend, Ben Fronte started Hard Hat in North Haven many years ago and would be appalled to see what a wrong turn his wallingford name sake took. 12/27/2021 Stopped in today to have lunch, I was told the ownership had changed and now was owned by the same people who own North Haven. Well i ordered a chicken sandwich amd didn't get chicken but a chicken patty. I've been in the food business 40 years and know the difference between chicken and chicken patty, no impressed rather disappointed wont see me again.

I recently went to hard hat 2 in wallingford and I will never be returning. They had terrible service and the bartender Jackie was the rudest bartender I have ever met. She would snap at me and my friend anytime we asked for a drink and she would have us waiting for a very long time. They should definitely look into hiring a friendlier bartender and one who can acually do there job
