99 Restaurants

Hard to find places like this. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great variety and most importantly, fantastic food! I haven't lived in this area for too long but long enough to know some of the local favorites. 99 definitely falls into that category. Usually I pick and buy what I'm familiar with, as to avoid disappointment due to myself being horribly picky. However, very rarely, I'll come across a restaurant that supercedes expectation. Which can lead me to feel that I'm in a comfortable enough position to open myself to a much broader selection, knowing there's very little chance of being let down. I've been to this restaurant a couple times now and have tried various dishes and desserts and I can honestly say that I haven't come across any distasteful visits. It's a rather pleasant surprise for sure. At the moment my favorite are the steak tips. By far best steak I've had in the area, and I'm sure most will agree. 10/10

Sat at bar so we didn't have to wait for seat. Steak my sister got and her whole meal was great. My meal was not as good as last time I got it this the 4 star review instead of 5. Got Mediterranean bowl which really tasted great a few weeks ago but was lacking in flavor and not as moist as last time. Rather disappointed cause I love 99 restaurant. I've never been disappointed this much since I first started going there years ago

Ate there on St Paddy’s Day with hubby. He had the corned beef dinner and was very happy, I had a salad with chicken, also very good. Our server was very nice, friendly and attentive. We don’t go out to eat too much, well because *people* but this was a nice experience and would come back. One thing I would suggest, after wiping down a table, please dry it, not pleasant to have to dry it myself.

Stopped by for lunch and the bartender greeted me wearing a jersey from Major League! Attentive and prompt service. Beer was cold and a great deal on a fried shrimp platter! Large portion for the price . Not only do I recommend the food, the Horseshoe Ale is amazing! A must visit for any sporting event! 5+ stars! I will be back!

Visited in Wallingford in March 2022. This place is well lit and rather easy to find. Parking is appropriate and free. Ambiance is very casual. The menu has a variety of options. The staff is friendly and attentive. The drinks are ok, not great but acceptable. I ordered the turkey tips and chicken tenders. I noticed that they tend to over cook so when asked, if you like well done, say well, not charred. If you are looking for a very reasonable food and drinks, this is for you. Oh... by the way they have trivia and happy hour specials. Thanks... Happy Dining
