As a local, this is my "go to" place for lunch on the go. Fantastic subs, pressed (panini-like) sandwich options, drinks, and chips at affordable prices. This is a great option if you're looking to pack up a picnic for a day of wine tasting. It's a walk-up venue only, with some picnic tables outside, so plan accordingly if you're seeking indoor seating. Excellent, friendly staff -- terrific location at the end of Main St. near the Whitman College campus. (And for repeat visitors, I recommend signing up for the reward program and collecting points toward free subs.)

This is my absolute favorite lunch place in Walla Walla. The food is so yummy! I love the bread bowls so much! I think it is phenomenal that they give you the best part of the bowl too, the inside!!! The staff is incredibly friendly and social. I don't give out 5 stars lightly! Highly recommend!!

The last couple years have been hard on businesses and everyone has been stressed but it hasn't affected WWSS! The owners and employees have the BEST attitudes, customer service, and obviously sub sandwiches in town. Thank you for valuing your work and customers!

One of the few places I still miss in Walla Walla. I still have my stamp card with 9 punches out of 10 in my wallet just in case I ever make it back! Owner is amazing and her care for quality work shows in what she does. Miss my pastrami / salami sammie!

I have eaten there in the past and it was really good. But now it is really great! I always stop in when ever I'm in Walla Walla, I highly recommend this place! You won't be disappointed!
