The Village Grille

Very nice place, a little more noisy than I like, couldn't here the people at the table we were with, waitress was good but could have come to the table a little more often, she missed an opportunity for a second round of drinks,live entertainment added to the noise factor! Nice meal good presentation, food done the way I wanted! over all not to bad!!!

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants for it's selection, moderate prices and generous drinks. We decided to try for the first time in over 2 years. We liked that they had a covered and spacious outdoor section. I ordered a NY Strip medium rare. It came out well done and it turned out to be a rib eye. I ordered a Martini, a little dirty. It tasted like the entire juice contents of an olive jar were in it. My wife ordered crab cakes which we both agreed were delicious. The only reason l have it 2 starts instead of 1 is because the crab cakes we're good and we enjoyed the outdoor tent and live music. Not sure if we try again, though.

Only downside is that it’s sometimes hit or miss for me. When it’s clicking, The Village puts out excellent food and service. Then after awhile it starts to go downhill. What I mean is I’ll get a dish. Really enjoy it and come back for it 3 times. No issues but then the fourth or fifth time it’ll be bland, undercooked, or overcooked. I’ve noticed that taking a break from them usually breaks the spell. Prices are okay.
