Limoncello Italian Restaurant

I had lunch here today for the first time and what a treat! The wait staff is very attentive, which is greatly appreciated these days! I had the grilled chicken Casa salad and it was delicious. The chicken was juicy and tasty, and as requested it was lightly dressed. The desserts are amazing and it will take several trips back to try them all!

Very crowded for a Saturday night. We were really having high hopes for Limoncello. Not saying the food is bad. It’s not. It’s just not what we were expecting. Complimentary garlic bread which was definitely over buttered and somewhat cold so it tasted kinda funky. I will tell you this, try the Balsamic Calamari, now that was good. A little too much balsamic, it was dripping and should’ve been served with balsamic on the side, but good. Now for the mains, Chicken parm was served right on top of the spaghetti which I’ve never had that served to me like that and a bit over sauced and under taste. I had to add more cheese than usual. The tilapia was just ok. Wide variety of desserts. Carrot cake was looking good, but just like the food it was just okay not great. Don’t forget to BYO and in the event you forget there is a liquor store 4 doors down.

Great food for average prices. The stuffed mushrooms were great but the table next to us had oysters Rockefeller that smeeled fantastic. The lamb shank was a special and was extremely tender and flavorful. My date had the house ravioli and said they were some of the best in the area, I believe they are made in house but don't quote me. The dessert section is massive and they bring you a display cart so you know exactly how good everything looks. * If you are looking for a deal their prefix menu is about $20 for an app, entrée, dessert. Groupon has a coupon as well for $30 off at a fixed price. If you read this far you know which is the better deal for you.

A good place for food if you’re looking to broaden your horizons. The posted picture is their Balsamic Calamari. It isn’t the balsamic I’m accustomed to, but it still tasted great and the calamari was still crispy despite being covered in sauce. They had an early dinner special 3 course meal for $18.95. Worth the visit without breaking the bank. The regular menu extends pst that.
