Pho D'lite

Would have gotten 5 stars if the staff was not so slow. Only 1 guy was cooking, a black young man up front to take orders had to go to the back to help at some point bcs the line was getting long and some ppl were also waiting to be seated. Another young man was a server but didn't seem to care much about his job. The black kid had to go to the office and say something all of the sudden 3 Hispanic men came out and started putting gloves on to help. What were they doing this whole time? During peak hour of dinner it should be all hands on deck! My food was fine, I have had better pho honestly. Everything on my plate seemed old and dry.

A few words: DON’T DO IT! Don’t even think about eating here. I’ve eaten authentic and delicious pho, pad Thai, fresh rolls, etc. throughout my life and what I had here was the exact opposite. Just to give a sense of how bad it was: OUR PAD THAI WAS SOUPY! I was really excited to find a pho restaurant in Waldorf …only to be disappointed.

The vibe of this place is way off. Too quiet, no atmosphere. Everyone is unhappy. Then they got this sign on the wall threatening employees in plain view of everyone. The summer rolls are all lettuce and the mostly thinly cut pieces of shrimp I have ever seen. Help wanted sign on the door is understandable because why would you want to work in a place with management like this.

I am only giving 2 stars because the only thing good about this place is their pho soup. Other than that, restaurant needs a lot of work. Limited staff so I understand why we would be waiting 35 minutes for food to be served. Pad Thai ordered last night was very wet and had no taste whatsoever, very bland flavor and not authentic Pad Thai. If you have have the time and money to be spending on take out, give your business to Thai Palace in Waldorf- their food is close the authentic. It’s a hit or miss with this place.

Always delicious and usually pretty fast. This place has always been busy when I've gone, it is our go to spot for pho in this area. even though they are always busy they have never messed up our order or ever taken too long to get our order to us. I do wish they cleaned quicker between guests. There is a good selection of things to try and so far it's all been good.

I've been going to this restaurant since it first open in Waldorf. Back then the food was good, service was good and overall atmosphere was on point. I don't know if the owners or management has change or what but it's awful now. I love my black and brown people God knows I do but when the Asians was running the place it was so much better. Sorry but I'm being honest. They mess up orders now, wrong charges, and the food went downhill.

Fresh ingredients (well, it's pho after all). Thought it came with broth. That would have been a lot better, I think. Servers didn't seem very interested in doing more than taking the order and bringing the check, occupied apparently with phone orders from what I could see. No real atmosphere. Easier to find an all around better experience elsewhere.
