A few of my good people out in Waldorf M.D. have been urging me to go to this Thai spot. I procrastinated with going, & the outside didn’t have an appeal to me. So anytime I came up to Waldorf I just kept passing it by. Well off the late night I stopped into @thaipalacemd at 2732 Crain Hwy., Waldorf M.D….I’m glad I did!! . . . Oh OK so this place has a very broad menu, so here we go. Appetizers include Satay chicken (a curry coconut skewered chicken), Breaded butterfly shrimp, and Spring rolls. They have soups like hot and sour soup, Your standard garden salads, and Curries that come with rice like their Panang Red Curry. They have stir-fry entrées like the Pad Basil, noodle entrees like their Drunkard Noodles, and Chef specials like Crispy Duck Kra Prao. Ok they have a spice level system (from Not hot-4 Warning!!). First I excitedly copped their 3 piece deep fried Curry Puffs (pictured with chicken, onion, potato, & mixed vegetables $8.95) as my appetizer. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! They were huge, and tasty, but had a lot of dough. . Secondly was their Coconut Soup “Tom Kha” (pictured with coconut milk, herbs, lemongrass, lime juice, mushrooms, level 4 hot shrimp & tomatoes $5.95). STAMP!! The fresh ingredients made this soup silky, hearty, and smooth. Hey, number 4 hot…is HOT!! . My entree was their Wild Chicken (pictured 4 hot, with Sauté grilled chicken with asparagus, baby corn, carrots,Tomatoes, onions, basil, bell pepper, Thai herbs, & a spicy red chili paste with coconut milk $17.95). STAMP!! Wooo this thing was delectable!! Crisp vegetables, & tender spicy chicken…WINNING!! GET THIS!! . For dessert I got their Crispy Banana and Rolls with coconut sticky rice (pictured deep fried banana rolls, with honey, & sweet coconut milk sticky rice $6.95). STAMP!! Wow this dessert may look wild, but STAMP!! . . Customer service was on point, welcoming, attentive, & warm. The Restaurant was clean, parking was ample, online ordering was easy, they do not deliver, pick up only. They also have a full bar. 3 out of 4 STAMPS! GO!! That’s it. #bigschlimsreviews

I've been to so many Thai restaurants. I've gotten take out from this place multiple times and I'd say it was "just good". But today I've finally had it as a dine in experience- it was OUTSTANDING. If you crave a Thai iced tea like I do, then this is the BEST place to get it in the area. The service here is even better than the food, and that just sounds crazy but it's true. They're attentive but not overbearing and they're so polite. I'm so happy to have this so close to my house!
