Chronic Tacos

This is my second visit to give them a second chance maybe my first review was a fluke. The food was better and my daughter enjoy her quesedilla. I would say it's better service and better prep. Good location with open seating. I read the reviews and watched the videos. I thought I found the competition from Chipotle or Mo’s Franchises. I was also excited that its close to home in Heritage. It was surprising to be empty for dinner. Great atmosphere with cool designs and great service. But the food was disappointing. We ordered 2 entries and both are lacking with quality of taste. Maybe just me but my wife was not so happy either.

I didn't like the food! The rice was undercooked, the beef was way too burned... beans had no flavor! The only reason that I gave 2 stars it's because I had a good time with my friend, we sat outside and the guy server was so friendly and nice, not the 2 other ladys though. To the server I would give 5 stars, to the food 0 stars. Never going back! Update: I must change my previous review because I went back as offered by the owner and the food was GREAT. They treated me so good and asked if the food was good. This guy named Erick made suggestions to try the spanish rice, also the spicy mayo (I forgot the name). Everything was so fresh and delicious. Tasty rice, beans and beef!! I also tried the churros and they were fresh and amazing. I am glad I went back and definitely recommend!!! Ps: I got my refund as promised by the owner, thank you again.

I wanted to update my post from a 2-star to a 5-star. Rudy the new owner is a good guy, me and my buddy went back here to try our luck again and we had Becky serving our food. She knew what she was doing without a doubt and cooked us up some amazing burritos that would put shame on other burrito joints, she was friendly and made sure we got what we wanted and I noticed she greets everyone who comes and goes from the shop. Great service !

Wow just amazing service & food! I ordered a catering for our Office lunch & had such a great experience! We had a friendly delivery person that set everything top for us, brought everything we asked for, and the food was very GOOD. We ordered the Worlds Greatest Taco Bar & ordered the carnitas, pollo asado & grilled veggies. The taste & freshness was out of this world!!! This was my first time ordering a catering order from Chronic but not my last as I have another one if for next week as my team insisted. Thank you for providing us with such great service & quality

This is a retro but hip mexican style take on Mexican cuisine...the food is fresh, hot and very flavor intense...prices are reasonable and decent portions... The Mexican Rice milk which comes with unlimited drinks is incredible...if you like hot, you are covered.... having a variety of hot sauses including Ghost pepper, right on the table...I would recommend fun restaurant for the family....

This place has exceeded my expectations. When it opened, I tried it and was originally not the biggest fan. However, I gave it another chance and I have grown to enjoy it quite a bit. The burritos there are out of this world; they are never skimpy on portions when it comes to the meat or toppings. The service is great, as every employee there greets you with a smile and is dedicated to making your experience worthwhile. The one issue I have is the price, as the cost to get a meal can get a bit expensive. However, the quality of the meal makes up for it and I have thoroughly enjoyed going there.
