We wandered in after stopping for some souvenir shopping next door. Did not expect much since it is essentially in a strip mall, and it wasnt particularly attractive to look at; however, they had great beer selections, and all the food we had was solid. The bartender seemed to know everyone in the establishment, and was super quick and consistent with checking in on everyone around. Overall, we were definitely happy with the stop.
Fantastic!
The Worthy Burger is is delicious, though it came more well-done than I ordered. I liked the secret sauce — seemed like a slightly spicy aioli of some sort?
The General Tso’s (which is also burger-shaped) was probably the most sesame-y thing I’ve ever eaten, and was phenomenal as well.
Fries were exactly what I expected; nothing surprising but very respectable.
The staff were friendly, and the food didn’t take too long to arrive. The music (mostly Jerry Garcia) was a good volume, not too intrusive.
You’ll never find a better burger and fries anywhere in Vermont! This is my second time visiting Waitsfield from out of state, and both times I have not been disappointed. Be sure to get your fries with truffle and Parmesan!
A great selection of beers
We had the chicken burger with Parmesan truffle oil fries and the worthy burger with dry rub fries
Both excellent. The fries were nice and crispy and couldn’t stop eating. Big portions.
Newest of the three Worthys, and in a lovely little shopping area basically next door to Lawson's. There's bar seating, a labyrinth of table seating indoors, and a decent-sized enclosed patio. Of course there are many burger options, and you can create your own, or go for non-beef options. The blue cheese and bacon jam burger was cooked a beautiful medium rare, the patty was seasoned properly, the fries are uncomfortably ample (and fried as perfectly as possible).
And true to form, the beer list is stellar for a place that excels at food: mostly local beers, with a knowledgeable, friendly staff to guide you through any unknowns on the menu. I had a lovely local porter and one of the several hazy IPAs on tap, while my dining companion found a fruited sour beer to enjoy with her delicious burger.
Beware the nonstop jam-band soundtrack, but it's central Vermont, so it's on-brand! I can't recommend the place strongly enough.
3 of us got the Worthy Burger and it was sooo good. Juiciest and biggest burger I’ve had in a while. The Parmesan truffle fries made the dish! Still warm when we ate even though it was takeout. Super busy given its ski season and the order was right on time. Def go again!
Perfect Covid dining experience. Place your order with someone behind a shield, then seat yourself and they bring your meal to you. That is the only human interaction. Very friendly staff, I had the fishwich and it was great.
Love this spot. Low key with a great draft selection. Burgers are delicious and so are the fries. Food comes out quick and hot. Awesome hangout.
