Nice atmosphere. Low light in the evening makes for a nice intimate dinner. It wasn't too busy when we were there. It was nice to have a conversation in a quiet restaurant. The drinks were good and the food was real good. Try the moonshine sirloin on mashed potatoes. The famous popover was great as well.

Supposedly this place was voted MN's best supper club 2021 according to their Instagram page but I don't know how that's possible based on our experience. We went there on a recommendation for our son's and my mother's birthdays and it was awful. My son couldn't even eat his chicken sandwich. He said it was gross and slimy, not to mention the piece of chicken was ridiculously tiny. He ordered a burger instead which he said was good but it was literally just a piece of meat on a bun. No cheese, no toppings, nothing. My husband said his ribs were good but he was warned that his asiago potatoes were extremely hot but instead they were ice cold. I ordered the moonshine steak which was barely lukewarm and very tough and it seemed like very poor quality meat. The presentation was also disgusting. I only took a couple of bites but could not stomach anymore and I told the waitress about this but all she did was offer to get it out of my way so I basically paid $24 for some mashed potatoes. Overall it was very disappointing and we all agreed that we would never return.
