Seats and tables are smaller but roomier.
At least they covered up the pot holes with concrete.

Came in with a bunch of friends and was pleasantly surprised 😊. We had a party of four and ordered the Ohana Style meal for two plus the nabeyaki saimin. We got to sample a good variety of local Japanese food and even had some leftovers! The staff was so nice and friendly and parking was easy. Great find in Waipahu.

I love this place! Have been coming here with my family for 20+ years. Really tasty local Japanese food...chicken katsu, teri chicken, teri beef and shrimp tempura is consistently good. Fair portions for the cost considering inflation. Customer service is friendly and efficient...Sato is the best! Their bar is right next door to the dining room so it can get kind of loud... it's part of the personality of the place.

Great service. You could tell the customers were all regulars. Good atmosphere. Food was good. Not over the top japanese restaurant but the price and quality was good.

New review because I’ve got a new appreciation for them. They really are the best Japanese place for the price. When you compare to a place like gyotaku, you simply get more. Two vegetable sides plus salad, rice and soup with your main dish. I wish they wouldn’t close at 2, but it’s their call.
