Came here to the Mill House for breakfast this morning and then dinner for my Dad’s Birthday tonight. The Staff was incredibly friendly and very welcoming and the Food was incredible. We had the Ube Pancakes, Pork Belly Hash, Crabcake Benedict and Avocado Toast for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. Dinner was also just as wonderful. The Prime Rib and Slow Cooked Lamb Shank were very well seasoned and everything was honestly on point. The drinks were incredible too especially the Waikspy Mule and the Aloha Maid. This restaurant gets two thumbs up from me!
Lovely views of the valley and mountains. Large patio with shade. The indoor seating is spacious with large doors that open to the patio.
The staff are very friendly and make good recommendations.
The ahi nachos, prime rib dip, and hamachi Kama are delicious. The cocktails are also fantastic—interesting flavor profiles and very well balanced. Highly recommend.
Outstanding location and exquisite food. Look for outdoor seating by the lagoon for the best experience. The menu changes daily, and everything is cooked to perfection. I found the sauces to be a little heavy for the fish items - since the fish themselves are so fresh and tasty that they don’t need a sauce really. Also, you must try any vegetable dish, as they are mostly from the estate’s gardens, and so so tasty. The restaurant offers kama’aina discount.
Updated: so we were back two years later and the food is still exquisite. Service was a little slow this time, maybe due to a busy Friday evening, but overall a great experience.
I LOVED The Mill House!!! My family of 5 had lunch here and wish we could have gone back a second time to try more on their menu. The food was all local farm-to-table fresh, flavorful and delicious. The VIEWS while dining on their outdoor patio was INCREDIBLE. Our server Jamie - was friendly, genuine and passionate about what she does. She truly made our visit very special and we tried everything she recommended and loved it all. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who travels to Maui. Amazing experience all around!
First time there. Great place to visit especially with the family. Nice little market store with sandwiches, salads, produce, gifts, baked goods, and specialty items. Zip Lining available and a really cool restaurant with a nice "backyard" view of the zip liners and the majestic mountains and nice big pond. I didn't get a chance to try it but the menu items I saw looked really good. I'll give it a try next visit. 🤙✌
Lovely atmosphere, delicious fresh food, warm service. You can taste the freshness of vegetables in salad. Some dishes are a little on the salty side, even the fresh bread, but generally very tasty and delicious.
Definitely try to sit in the plantation side instead of in the theater.
A little pricey for $$ ($115 for lunch for 4), but worth it.
Absolutely fantastic. We only got the small bites and chef's plates to share, but we got a lot! The surroundings and decor are also lovely. We'd hiked the sliding sands trail earlier that day and it was good to sit and enjoy the greenery with the food.
It was refreshing to find a place that did such good fresh vegetarian food. Neither my husband nor I are veggie.
Our server was Daniel and he was very amiable and provided a lot of insight and tips. Would definitely go back if we'd had more time to try the larger dishes.
Such a beautiful place to dine and enjoy the company of my sweetheart ❤
The setting is as amazingly beautiful on a different level, as Mamas Fish House. We ordered one dish each from Bite, Small Plate, Pasta and Entree, all were fabulously delicious, we savored every morsel!
Portions are small, so take your time to taste each flavorful bite.
We didn't have time to tour the plantation but will definitely return.
The grounds are impeccable and quirky fun, there's plentiful parking and immaculately clean restrooms!
We made lunch reservations, but it wasn't necessary, they weren't busy at all, but, I would highly recommend reservations for dinner!
This is another must do while on Maui.
One of my absolute favorite places we visited. The drive there was scenic and very enjoyable. So dont let the distance deter you from visiting this must see place. The mountain views were the most breathtaking I've ever had. I was in complete awe. We were able to walk around and enjoy all the lush greenery. We didn't take the train tour. We came for an early dinner. It's a bit pricey but well worth it. You will not regret it. One of the highlights of our maui visit!
Had dinner here for my sister in laws wedding reception. The scenery is very pleasant and made for some nice pictures! The food I had was very good and my wife liked her food a lot as well. We all felt that the server was a bit pushy with us on ordering more food or drinks and was a bit of a turn off. I had said I was good with just ice water and got asked a couple times if I wanted a drink, seemed to be frustrated with people when they didn't want to look at a desert menu because we were all so stuffed. I'm not sure if this is restaurant policy or what but just seemed like it could be cut back a bit.
