Good Friends Cafe

I have been a frequent patron of Good Friends Cafe for years. The food is exceptional and made from scratch. The staff are always eager to accommodate when I ask for specialty coffees and drinks to be made by my specifications. This cafe truly has a charming atmosphere and the staff are without fail, friendly each and everyday. I would recommend that you check it out when your in town .

Sadly, they have lost my business. It took 20 minutes to get through the drive-thru, after ordering two lattes. After 17 minutes of waiting, I was told I had to pull forward and park, and wait for my order to come out. When the employee came out to give me my order I asked her why it took 20 minutes to get two drinks. She got really sarcastic and snapped, "Oh, probably because there are all these OTHER people in line (**There was only two cars in the drive-thru when I pulled up.)...and a huge party inside. AND we have ONE machine!" She then turned her back on me and walked away without any sort of apology. I told her to have a great day as she walked away, without acknowledging me. I won't be back after such a rude experience.

First timer here. While I didnt order food I DID get the best blended cafe drink of. My. LIFE. It wasnt terribly sweet (like Mcdonalds Frappes) and wasnt bitter (like that old, stale coffee taste some places tend to have). When I say perfect I mean IT WAS PERFECT. I'll be sure to swing by anytime I'm in the area.
