Been looking for a place we felt safe but could still get out for good food and a drink. They have a small front patio and a little bit bigger one out back. Indoors is a little small if you are covid-conscious but looks like it would be a great atmosphere post-pandemic. We opted for the front patio where we could do some people watching and chat. Really, really enjoyed ourselves. The cross-cut fries were by far the best I’ve had anywhere. Perfectly crisp and not soggy and wimpy like most. Sliders were tasty and perfect. Avocado toast looked like a gourmet restaurant. It’s a beer tavern so the wine was a little limited but what we got was very tasty and freshly opened. Highly recommend the 508 Tavern. And it sits right in the new area of downtown that is still very much under construction but going to be very cool when it’s done.

Neighborhood feel and atmosphere with a great tap list and the best bar food we've ever had. The owners are super nice and helpful too. If we lived in Vista 508 would be a regular stop.

Perfect little hideout bar in downtown Vista. The food and beer was so delicious. The sliders, the fried olives and the Korean BBQ Tacos were so damn good. This will be our regular spot from now on!

This is a small but quaint tavern. Staff/owners are always friendly & even seem to remember you if you don’t come in regularly. Even with a limited menu the food is excellent. Chorizo fries are our favorite. Small but great variety of tap beers & wines. A great place to kick back & relax, chat with others at the bar or relax on small patio. Go-you’ll love it.

We found this little gem while looking for a good dinner place after the movies. 508 is a tiny restaurant with indoor seating for about 20 people. There are also a few picnic tables out back for diners with doggies. The menu is limited, but the food is excellent. Very fresh and made to order. They have a good selection of local wines and locally brewed beer. Highly recommend.

We've been going to 508 for about 6 months, now. When we first tried the place, we came back 2 more times that first week! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the food, selection of micro-brews, wines, and more. Service is great - when busy or not - and since getting our puppy, we're now using the front patio for a place to hang with our poochie and enjoy a meal and some relax time. We are now bringing our out-of-town guests, and friends here, to experience this as well.

I absolutely love the Korean tacos! Their taco Tuesday, for me, is ordering one of each option. This is a small place, the staff is busy, but always friendly and there for your satisfaction! They have a beautiful patio space too, front and back.

This is a quiet little bar that serves premium craft beers and has a really clean small kitchen. I indulge in a double ipa with Korean style and fish tacos , EXCELLENT!!! Met a few locals , very pleasant. The proprietors, Shelley & Hector , seem to be good down to earth hard working people trying to keep a business afloat in these trying times. City is upgrading in street out front . Really like this place !!!! Sorry didn't think to take photos.
