Upper Crust Pizza

We recently moved to Vista and were looking for a Pizza/Italian Restaurant. I did my usual research and decided to give "Upper Crust" a try especially after trying the usual Pizza Hut and Domino's which as always is so disappointing. We ordered a 3 topping large Pizza and their Monday night Spaghetti special. The price was very reasonable especially for the exceptional quality of the food. Made fresh and when we arrived home it still was steaming hot! Great job Upper Crust Pizza. We'll be customers as long as we live in town.

Great all-around pizza place! Wonderful pizzas--try the Special--perfectly cooked with a crispy crust and fresh ingredients. Another favorite is the antipasto salad--with spears of a variety of meats and artichoke hearts, garnished with olives. They have a variety of other food available too. A favorite with families, sport teams, dating couples, and those who just want to watch the game while enjoying great pizza and a beer.

The pizza was delicious! If you like a thick crust... this is the place! All fresh ingredients too. The staff and owner were friendly and did not hesitate to accommodate 20 football players, 6 cheerleaders, and the coaching staff! Clean bathrooms. We traveled 2 hours and were grateful to find a pizzeria willing to serve us all on short notice! THANK YOU!

To start off with, I came in on a Saturday night to takeout some pizza, the process went smoothly and the food was very good so I had no issues at all with that. COVID precautions were all up to standard, and the food came quickly. Customer service was also great. But, it felt like a sauna inside! Walking in was like a mini heatwave had hit me, and I can't imagine what it is like for the people working here. There was no working fan or swamp cooler in sight, and no circulation in this building, even more so in the kitchen with the plexiglass covering almost the entire opening. Especially considering how hot it has been this summer and how we are all already dealing with health concerns in one way or another, the safety and quality of life of our essential workers should not be overlooked. I hope to see this company improve the the working environment they are providing for their employees, but until then I cant see myself returning.
