We shared the Oishiburger, it was so delicious it disappeared😋🤭🤣 The Spicy Tokya chicken wings were so good!! Even better with the Ranch Wasabi Cucumber dip🤤 Gyudon was on!! Thinly sliced marinated Ribeye over risce with an egg😁😍 Happy Me!! Nice vibe! Anime on the screen. Loved the music... Chill!
Outstanding. We went in with high hopes and were blown away. The Oishii Burger is fantastic, sauces for the fries are awesome. The Ginger Aioli and Cool Wasabi Ranch are both fantastic.
The showstopper was the (seasonal) Cheese Curds. The curds themselves weren’t anything special, but the toppings blew us away! Even had a fun touch of some kind of edible paper that was moving (looked like butterfly wings flapping, in video, though it doesn’t really do it justice.)
I’m glad we made the drive out from East Beach/Ocean View to give this restaurant a try; now we just have to hope they open additional locations and we get lucky!
First time going I ordered the summer menu specials. It was a beef burger fried in panko, with a egg, cheese, and curry gravy. This was the best burger I had in my life. I had to go back the following day to order it again thinking this was a fluke. Nope it was marvelous the second time around!

I've ate at hundreds of places in my lifetime, but this place is special, the food is always the amazingly well cooked with tons of flavor. I've had alot of this menu at this point and every single one is a 10/10. Now when I state that it means its special, this is 1 of 2 places that I've EVER given a 10 on. The staff is extremely friendly, professional and on top of there game. 10/10. The restroom is always clean, inviting, does not smell or make you feel like you need to hover above it lol Now the critiques, the only thing is when you walk in, its definitely not what I expected at all, an I think that's refreshing. The decor is nice and immersive to the vibe, bringing it all together. The best part, there is almost never a line! Idk how that is possible!!. If anime is your thing you'll like it even more cause they play random ones on the tv, but not to loud. As someone who does not like anime, it's the perfect balance really. It doesn't distract from date nights, well unless you want that and sit next to it lol. Please do yourself a favor, go here!
You want to go here. Flavor on flavor on flavor on flavor. Delicious is an understatement. Staff is friendly, one piece is on the tube and the eclectic music will take you away. Get here. Worth every penny.
Absolutely fantastic experience all around. Service was so quick and very polite and personal. Gabe is a super sweet server and all of our food came out piping hot in less than 10 min. Huge portions, great flavors, and reasonable pricing. Definitely try the Oishii burger and the 1$ fried Oreos. We will be coming back many times over.
Food was amazing! Everything we had we absolutely loved. Get there earlier because they cam fill up quick on weekends. We got there around 5:20 on a Saturday and was seated immediately. It's definitely worth the trip. Service was so nice and courteous. We tried multiple. This on the menu and we're blown away by thr flavor. We've found ourselves a new favorite in the VB area and I'm already planning my next trip.

I NEVER rate an establishment this high, but Oishii Burger really won the gold last night! The menu/taste, servers, and ambiance really went the whole 9 yards (and then some). Next time I'm in town, it will be no question as to if I will visit again!
This place was spotless and clean with a bright, airy, and inviting atmosphere. The service was top-notch and our drinks were refilled before they were half empty. Our server was friendly and helpful and greeted us within 60 seconds or less. The food was equally as amazing as it looked. The appetizers were served quickly and the entrees arrived immediately after. Menu pricing is extremely reasonable for the quantity and enjoyment your taste buds receive. This restaurant truly stands out in Virginia Beach and is an amazing twist on Japanese cuisine.
