Good "hole in the wall" place. If you're looking for a fancy atmosphere with classy people and expensive drinks, this isn't the place for you. Mel's is the perfect place for people who just want to go somewhere, have a drink, meet up with some friends (or make new ones) and just unwind. They have a couple pool tables and dartboards for your recreation, those electronic multi-game machines (forgive me, I forgot what they're called) as well as many TVs to watch sports games on, and an electronic jukebox so you can listen to your favorite tunes. Mel's also serves the usual "pub grub" such as a variety of subs/sandwiches, appetizers like fried mushrooms and jalapeno poppers, as well as having lunch and dinner specials throughout the week. The staff are all friendly and down to earth. Mel's is a good place to go where you aren't surrounded by a crowd of overly-hyped younger twentysomethings. Also, smoking is permitted inside.

This place is awesome!! The staff are friendly, kind and provide great service. The food was delicious 😋🤤 Best of all, the atmosphere was chill and the patrons were respectful!! Who wouldn't want to hang out in a place like that???

Mel’s is a cool little local spot with friendly staff and great service. The owner Mel is awesome, and they host 8 Ball Pool tournaments every Saturday night at 8PM.

Very nice bar. Me & my husband came here for a pool tournament, which their pool tables are in a non smoking section. We got their lemon pepper wings & they were absolutely amazing!!
This is a dive bar BUT it's a 1%r. They fked up my food order but our drinks were cold and fresh. Both the cook and waitress apologized - sincerely and completely unnecessary. It's why this place is 5 stars. I hadn't been in like 2 years and the vibe was still the same. The food is awesome, service is excellent. I'll be going back.
Food was amazing! As was the service! I had the Chicken Tortilla soup with salad, and it was the best soup I’ve ever had!
What can I say about this place and its owner. I have know Melody since the mid 90s before this place ever became into existence. A whole bunch of us go back to Pop's Place off of Princess Anne Rd where Jets Pizza is today. From the early beginnings to now and beyond, I have never met an absolute wonderful person. I have been back a number of times since moving out of the area and every time she had welcomed me back with open arms. I love and miss the place every much. The food is still great . Being there for lunch brought back some great times. Thank you again my friend, Love you.
Amazing place went there with my old lady yesterday and to meet up with some friends. Great beers offered, good tasting food also, pool tables inside nice quiet spot, good relaxing music, great bartender ladies, and the owner is also a lovely lady. Will be back and everyone should check it out. Great nostalgic vintage flow also with juke box and old school smoke room.
First time customer. Very friendly bartenders as well as the crowd. Didn't have any food just drinks but the food I saw the customers eating looked very good. Definitely will return, especially for football season!
