So we tried a different Pollard's Chicken and our food came out quicker than expected, and the pieces felt like they were in a warming tray, not fresh and hot as we've experienced before. This Pollard's Chicken was the same way. One piece was fresh out of the fryer, the other warm at best. The flavor was great, just expected two pieces of hot, fresh chicken. That's what they're known for. We don't mind the wait as long as it's fresh.
Be prepared to wait, BUT it's worth it. The chicken is literally made to order. The potatoe salad is pretty good. The green beans & leafy greens are good too. They are cooked w/ pork. So, if you're a non pork eater, be mindful.
The food was great. it just took a while to come out, but that could be because it's fresh and has not been setting out.
Came into today 12-7-23 the lady at the counter was on top of her job the rotisserie chicken was amazing super juicy love the food no matter what I get we also need you to please open up a store in Elizabeth city nc thank you
Clean, tidy, speedy service, delicious food. Parking out front was spacious. Will be back.
We ordered a small veggie tray, ham sandwiches, turkey sandwiches, lumpia, tea & lemonade. It was delicious! So convenient and great prices!!
Pollards chicken is my favorite place for chicken for catered events. The chicken is fresh, cooked to perfection, crispy outside and very tender and moist inside. I have never had a single complaint about the quality. The staff is pleasant, professional and always have my order ready to bring to my car. I will continue to patronize Pollards for my personal meals as well.
Have never eaten there before. The hush puppies were the best I've eaten in a long time. The pork barbeque was very good.
I had the pleasure of experiencing some of the best customer service I have ever received at this location today!. It has been over a couple of years or more since I have placed an order at this location and the crew where not the same in which I've seen in the past. If this is an example of how this Mgmt. values their clientele than I am glad to become returning customer.
It was a busy day, being a busy holiday however I was treated with welcoming greetings & thanked for my business.
