Raleigh our waitress was amazing. She went over and beyond for us. The food was hot and fresh and worth every penny. You definitely get your money's worth
Well worth the wait! We went tonight and we only had a 30 minute wait. Fresh and great tasting seafood. Large portions at a great price. We had the shrimp basket and you can easily share it. The side of broccoli is insanely large and the hollandaise sauce is a brilliant idea. The hushpuppies wit
My cousin and I were traveling from Maryland to eastern North Carolina, and she suggested going there because she had been there before, and I wanted to check it out. I ordered the broiled seafood platter. It was good. It could have been a bit warmer and a little more juicier, just a bit on the dry
My family and I were frequent guests at Taylor's Landing Surfrider before it closed. The recently opened Surfrider in Providence Square will be my bestest seafood place to go. Excellent service, awesome food.
We were there on a Thursday night. It wasn't crowded. The waitress was attentive without being a nuisance. We had the broiled shrimp, scallops and crab. The seasoning was a little heavy but otherwise it was cooked perfectly.
I came to Surf Rider...first because I was excited about that I finally had one close enough to where I lived! My hubby Jason and I were filled to the brim with the most delicious food that ever came out of the sea...You have to try the shrimp and crab dinner! Yum! Make sure you get a lot of butter
The food was delicious as always. I’m not a seafood eater and they have plenty of other great options. My mother loved her shrimp plate. Ask for David the next time you stop in. He was excellent!! Our drinks never ran out, we had everything we needed and he was just so cordial and friendly. His serv
My first time to this restaurant. I'm truly sorry, I should have taken pictures because it was a great lunch and pictures of the soup and our meals would make you want to visit too. My friend wanted seafood and I love seafood, so we decided on Surf Rider. We arrived around 11:45 a.m. On the board we
Had the fried shrimp which were awesome. Fries were cold. Everyone's sides were cold. The BEST entree can be ruined by slacking on making the sides as good as the main course IMHO. Service was not good. Our server was polite but slow and had to be chased down a few times and reminded of things a
Lunch today for 6 ladies, server was Rachel. Really no complaints at all. We had a large variety of dishes to see and eat. Everything was fine and tasty. Clam chowder was a hit, a long with the salads - nice size and variety of veggies - everything fresh and delicious. Size of shrimp was outstanding
It was a little slow getting seated. I had the crab cakes, they were out of steak, I was very disappointed so I tried the pork chops. Everything was seasoned and they give you nice size portions.
Food was absolutely delicious. Some portions reminded me of Sammy's in New York. Don't go to the Oceanfront for seafood. Rudees can't compete with Surf Rider's at ALL!! Everything was nice, atmosphere, staff. No complaints!!
The only thing preventing five stars is this local restaurant chain is stuck in the past. Online reservations and online food ordering are not allowed. You can’t call in a food order either. I guess that aligns with the main audience that they serve. Seniors 🤣. Good food though.
We were truly excited to find that a Surf Rider had opened in our neighborhood! I had gone to the Surf Rider on Shore Drive for lunch when I worked at Little Creek and always enjoyed the food, srevice and ambiance. This one at Kemps River has the same good food and service but the ambiance of a stri
The food and bucket drinks here were super delicious. I had the fried oysters and a frozen rum punch with Ceasars salad and potato salad. Would definitely recommend!
First time I ever been there I enjoyed the food people were so nice. I will come back at a later date.
