Went there this evening for dinner before our concert and I have to say the food was AMAZING and Nona was super sweet, even came out to talk to us and make sure our food was great. Best tiramisu ever, garlic knots, hearty portions, cheese fries just everything was on point. Definitely will return
On our travels through the Norfolk area, we came across this hidden gem. As you can read from some of the recent reviews, Nona is having some staffing challenges. It was obvious, but the way the owner and her staff handled the mistakes was recommendable.

Seriously, where do I even start? Right away my daughter and I were greeted by such a friendly staff that it felt as if I walked into my family's home. No joke- I felt so at ease and loved the ambience of the whole restaurant.

It is a small local business & the owner was having some difficulties with staffing while we were there so there was a wait. But the owner is quite lovely & is cooking all of the food for customers. The food is worth the wait. Everything is just so delicious.
I have been eating at this restaurant and ordering them at least once a week for over 10 years, when was fresh crust before it became Nona's and I probably won't stop.
