We each had a Porterhouse T-Bone with sides. We started our meal with a order of the Cactus Blossom and two orders of the Grilled Shrimp Appetizers,and two cocktails 🍸. For dessert it was Granny's Apple Classic for me and Strawberry Shortcake for my Lady. All in all the food was right on and our server was very pleasant and helpful,she did a great job
Although this experience was pleasurable like many others I have also had slow service and food were the chef just wasn't feeling it ya know ow what I mean. But the visit in question this time was a very good one two thumbs up 👍 👍

I actually went a few nights before Christmas. They were extremely busy, everyone was very friendly. We were seated rather quickly, even with a long wait line. Our food arrived quickly and was very delicious. I will return again soon.

This place loves our veterans with juicy steaks and chilli that I like. Their potato wedges are tasty too . They exceeded me and my wife’s expectations. We even bought ribs for my son.

I was visiting the area, with my grandmother, to take my mother out for a birthday dinner. She chose this location. The restaurant was decent. My party and I (3 total) enjoyed our experience to this location, overall. My mother has issues with consuming hard foods and asked the waiter to have the kitchen over-cook the vegetable to be slightly on the mushy side. They seemed to be unable to do this, because the three times they brought it back to the table it was still hard, and as she put it "seems like they just re-heated it again and again". Quite disappointed for that result. The steaks were a bit on the thin side, but the size, texture, feel, and flavor was overall very pleasant and on the upper side of all the steak houses I've been to. Our waiter, Theo, was kind and helpful, but never seemed to be happy or smile. Whenever we needed something (even if it wasn't him) someone was there to help us out.

Always a treat eating here. The food is great! I love the cowboy theme. If you're celebrating a birthday be prepared to ride the saddle! Lol. The rolls are so delicious and the cinnamon butter😋 So good. I don't think I've ordered anything from here that didn't taste good. Good choice.

Stopped by on St Paddy's day and realized 2 waiters and myself were dressed similar. I had to take a pic with them. They were very nice and open to taking the pic. Food was great and the drinks were good. Thank you TR

Overall good experience. Very long wait time even though there is an online waiting list. Had an estimate of 90-100 minutes after signing up. They asked us to sit on one side due to 6ft but that kind of doesn’t make sense by the way the tables are set up. Waitress was nice and on point, came and often checked in on us. Menu(online) has a good selection including sides. They bring complimentary bread that is super hot and fresh and taste great. Drinks and food came pretty quickly. Everything tasted great and looked very pleasant. Prices are very reasonable. Left full and satisfied.

We arrived on a Saturday night about 6pm, seated immediately. David was our server. Amazing attitude, on point with everything. I had a 20oz prime rib cooked to a perfect med rare. Our server chatted with us for a while then when we was packing our leftovers, David the server brought my mother a sweat potato to go with her leftover steak. Yup my mother made him hug her. Great service from a great server.
Only thing I would say they should change about this location is that being in the Virginia Beach area. They do not honor military discounts for serviceman at this location.

I dine at this fine restaurant at least 3 times a month. I have have many great servers , but none can compare to Yve. She has waited on our table several times and each time the food and service has truly been outstanding and memorable. She is so friendly, upbeat, helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. She is most attentive to our needs and goes beyond the call of duty so many times. She truly wants to make sure your dining experience is the best and that you are completely

I was very disappointed in your food quality Last night... ordered grilled chicken breast mashed potatoes {with butter} and mixed vegetables Received food in timely manner but Chicken was uckkey over cooked, dry and tasted awful, no butter on mashed potatoes, and broccilie and carrots were not steamed enough and was like eating them raw...tasted so bad i could not eat them....I was really surprised by the food quaility have eaten there before and been very satisfied but not last night horrible food.....I will really have to give it plenty of thought before bringing my family or friends to your establisment again. My husband and I wanted a steak last night. We decided to try Texas Roadhouse in VB. We did the call ahead seating.
When we arrived, we were seated within 10 minutes. Our server was Greg. We were looking at drinks and he made suggestions which we went with. We both had the huge 20 oz bone in ribeye steak. The steaks came and were perfectly cooked medium rare. The food was fantastic.
The steak was perfect but the service was top notch.
Greg was very happy and gave off that bone. Even if we would have been in a bad mood, his uplifting attitude and smile would have certainly calmed the angriest beast.
There have been other resturaunts that we have been and the food has been phenomenal but the service was not good so we have not returned.
Needless to say, we will return and we will ask for Greg's area when we do.
You have a perfect shining gem in this very nice polite and attentive young man.

Our server Kelly was excellent.
Food was not satisfactory. Steak was raw, salad was warm and had rotten salad in it, ribs were dry and even with extra sauce still sucked. Kitchen totally ruined the meal and experience. Didn't even get eating utensils to eat with. Sat for a couple of minutes staring at warm rotten salad.
I always looked forward to going to TRH for those special occasions, but now I have to re-evaluate my choice next time it comes up.

Texas Roadhouse is my boyfriends fav and we eat there frequently but not at this location. This was the first time at the va beach location and was def our last. Our waitress sucked. Forgot half the food when she brought it out. My Daughters mac & cheese was cold, my pulled pork was cold and the “fresh bread” was a joke, literally a flattened roll they toasted, boyfriends baked potatoes were cold... and our two friends food was covered in so much pepper they could hardly eat it. Then the service continued to suck when she took FOREVER to bring the check and forgot to go boxes twice. Not happy.

I love Texas Roadhouse But this was awful. Ordered to go tonight and brought it home to find my husbands chicken was actually steak, my salad had the wrong dressing, forgot to give us butter with the bread, and my chicken and fries were soggy and unappetizing. Will not be coming back to this location, would rather drive to the one on the other side of the water that I KNOW makes your food well and gets your order correct.

The prime rib was awesome. The service was terrible. First our server ordered the wrong steak then after correcting that she never once returned to see if we needed another drink from the bar or to see if everything was okay...then, we had to wait forever for her to finally come back to get takeout containers and our checks...

Absolutely love this place! I cook great steaks at home but when I want a steak that I don’t have to cook, Texas Roadhouse is the place to go. I’ve had a delicious steak at the other upscale steak restaurants, but Texas Roadhouse is by far, my favorite! I’ll be back...👍🏾👍🏾😊 🥩

Tonight was me and my boyfriend's first time here and it was A M A Z I N G!!!!! Everything was PERFECT and I can't remember the last time i had a server as great as Keegan!!! He was amazing. We will definitely we back and asking for him. I was a server for 7 years, and you look at things differently after bring in the industry, but this server was PERFECT and very personable. He made our date night experience here amazing!!!! Thank you Keegan!!!
