Homemade roast beef and pork sliced to order.. I had the Betty which was so unusual but really really tasty, especially on the raisin bread. My party also had the roast beef which was medium rare, tender and delicious. The bread was great. I only wish the roast beef sandwich was somewhat bigger, but overall it's satisfying enough for lunch.
The Dancing Tomato Sandwich. There was so many unique combination of sandwiches to choose from but I settled on the sandwich called the "dancing tomato". It was smoked turkey,fontina cheese, spicy cherry tomatoes with a tomato house dressing, grilled on a ciabatta roll. It was absolutely divine! This place is hard to find because it's not in a normal location.. It's actually in an office building. But if you can find it it's well worth it! Use your GPS and go to this place today!

Great Find!. I found this place using Urbanspoon and I'm glad I did! It is a bit off the path and when you drive up to the address you realize this place is in an office complex. Once you find it and step into the small cozy sandwich cafe the smells will reassure you that you're in the right place. Everything seems homemade and prepared from scratch. These sandwiches and wraps are seasoned and executed perfectly! I tried the buffalo chicken wrap and was not disappointed. The chicken had a great grilled char on it and it was moist. The buffalo sauce was spicy and tasty and the veggies crisp and fresh. The service was very friendly and inviting. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

LOVE IT. This place is fabulous! The food is absolutely delicious! The sandwiches, soups and salads are creative and scrumptious. Everyone is friendly and the place is cozy. I love the dixie chicken salad and the Betty..it is a sandwich made of cream cheese, roasted nuts, bacon, and tomatoes on homemade raisin bread. It will continue to haunt you..and that's a good thing. Check it out..you won't be disappointed!
Was difficult to find, I almost gave up but I am SO glad I didn't. The food is delicious and fresh, the staff was friendly and very attentive. I will definitely be back. I almost forgot the picture because I was so ready to eat it. Hidden treasure for sure.
This is one of the BEST lunch places I've been to in Virginia Beach! Every time I walk in I am greeted with a smile :) Donna and her staff are so friendly and the food is consistently top notch every time I eat there. Especially the DJ sandwich and the Big Tony :) If I can give more than 5 stars I would!
Today was my first visit and I cannot wait to go back! The chicken corn chowder was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed my cranberry chicken sandwich! My mom had the plain chicken sandwich and loved that too ! Donna greeted me like an old friend! Great food and service,! I will be back!
Really enjoyed my dancing tomato sandwich I tried for the first time, my favorite is the dixie chicken salad. The service is always great, Donna makes you feel like your enjoying a meal at home! Would definitely go back again!

To get there you will think there must have been some mistake as you walk through an office building, then behind a nondescript door awaits this charming little eatery. The street sign is lists this place as if it were just another little office on the building.
In the area on business and stopped here for lunch. Hidden inside office building complex, but perfect for those working nearby. Small area to dine in, as most seem to be take out orders. Being first time customers, we got free cookies. The lady taking orders knew practically everyone that walked in. Would definitely recommend.

Make sure you get here early as the lunch crowd does get to be a little crowded and this small bistro fills up quick. If you can't stay, take your food to go. With favorites like the Krista Wrap: featuring their award winning pimento cheese; or the DJ:] overflowing with succulent pork loin; any of the sandwiches from the Dancing Tomato are sure to make your taste buds dance!
What to choose? With a menu like theirs that is the biggest dilemma. Too many right answers. My choice proved to be exactly what I needed. The Willard, chicken, cheese and perfectly crispy bacon on a warm baguette, a side of potato salad, a mango snapple and 2 oatmeal raisin cookies all for under $12.00!!! This place has my 2 thumbs up. Oh, not too mention the beautiful woman behind the counter was not only pleasant, but helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. I love, love, love Dancing Tomato. Someone from my office orders carryout from this place almost every day. I've tried several items on the menu and have been satisfied each time. My favorite menu item is the Mediterranean Salad with Grilled Chicken and hummus. Another favorite is the Ryan Salad and grilled chicken wrap. The food is always made with fresh ingredients and the customer service is top notch. They make it a point to always remember your name and face. The service you receive at Dancing Tomato is rare.
A wonderful, little hidden gem offering quick menu items. If you need a lot of "atmosphere" to enjoy your meal, you should stick with the chain sit-down restaurants. Their money is put in the food and service, both of which were above par. Glad to support a local business owner.
