This was my first visit to this restaurant but it will not be my last. To begin with, our waitress, Luisa U. was friendly and most helpful and attentive to our dining needs. The food was delicious and the menu was so varied. The attention and professional customer service received was first rate. What a wonderful experience and excellent meal we had this evening, Thank you and your entire staff for an A++++++++++ dining experience. We will definitely see you again real soon. We went there last night after a long hiatus because of bad service and so so food. Our waiter provided prompt courteous service and the food was excellent. Great atmosphere. The place was packed but not noisy. We will be returning soon.
Absolutely amazing Mexican! The margaritas are unbelievable, the service is fantastic and the food is exactly the same every time we come in. Perfection! You will eat every last bite! Gabby, Carla, Louisa, Tim and Junior provide amazing service time after time! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!
Nice warm cute setting for a relaxing dining experience. Staffs are attentive and smiling - that's good vibes for a meal. Chimmichanga and quessadilla are very yummy. Again, they are so good that I chowed down before taking photos. 😂 Taco chips and the white sauce are superb too, so addictive that we had asked for second helping!
The food was delicious not to mention the white salsa/sauce they bring you with chips was amazing!!! Food came out fast and piping hot even with the staffing shortage. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!

My husband had the fajitas which were good, I got the flautas which we’re alright. I’m kind of disappointed that all of these “Mexican” restaurants tortillas aren’t handmade they’re those store bought ones with the rubber texture . Customer service was great and super friendly. Bathrooms were cleaned which is always a plus.
Best place in va beach for mexican food! Pretty much anything you order here will be delicious, quickly served hot and made to order. Margaritas are fantastic and staff is friendly and inviting. I always make it a point to eat here when i am in town.
Good food and good service, the only down side is that the California burrito doesn't come with fries in it like it's supposed to. I'm from California and I've never had it no other way until here. For the price they should consider throwing fries in there instead of it being an additional charge. It's a huge burrito though and I highly recommend (make sure to add the fries in it).

After mediocre to downright horrific dining experiences elsewhere in Virginia Beach, our crew was wary of any food establishments on the Atlantic ave. strip.
So we were pleasantly surprised when the staff at La Herradura welcomed us with open arms. They served us with kindness and expediency and the menu — with flavors from Mexico to Argentina — had something for everyone.
The food was “delish,” as an old sous chef of mine once liked to say. The whole thing was easy and fast, and we were an 8 top.
I absolutely recommend La Herradura — you won’t regret it!
