A cute place with warm and welcoming staff, laid back cozy cute setting inside and out, a fun delicious menu, a bite of Hawaiian favorites, and most importantly, a heart for the customers that motivates staff to go above and beyond! Here is my story. My mother was with us last Saturday. She had a stomach pain and didn’t want anything but a light hot soup. There weren’t many items that sounded good to her (nothing really appeals to her when she wasn’t feeling herself), so I ordered something that I thought she might enjoy. The owner (I believe) who was a chef came to check on her a couple of times and realized she was not eating much. He asked me what could possibly make her happy. I explained she didn’t feel good and only wanted a light soup. I said it was totally okay. But the owner didn’t give up. He went back in the kitchen and came out a few minutes later with a bowl of noodle soup that was created for her! My Mom and I were especially touched because this man cares for his customers, listens to them, and is awesome and creative. The noodle soup was in chicken broth with coconut milk and spice in it. He chose buckwheat noodles, added a couple of oysters and sprinkled some cilantros on top. What an amazing creation! My mom loved it and felt so much better. I didn’t realize I didn’t tip them until getting back that night. Apparently the card reader didn’t give you options to choose the percentage of tips and automatically add it to the bill. I wanted to go back on Sunday to get a coffee and give them a big tip, but found out they were not open on Sunday. I will definitely return in the future whenever we visit VB. Advice to visitors: 1. Have some cash for tips and leave it in the jar. 2. Try their special items on the menu. Yummy. 3. Ask if you have a preference to food. The staff there would definitely try their best to customize it for you. 4. They are closed on Sundays. 5. Kids friendly. High chairs. Sweet and tolerant staff. Changing tables in the bathrooms. They even have a few baby diapers stacked in the main bathroom. I don’t see that often. If that doesn’t scream care, I don’t know what care is. Thank you for reading my essay. Appreciation to the boss, chef, and staff for a great experience. Cannot wait to visit again!

I have been waiting for a place like this at the oceanfront for so long! It has the perfect fast, casual atmosphere (especially for us Moms wanting good, healthy food in a place that we can bring our kids) with zero compromise in the quality of food. Amazing food, great staff and I love the option to call ahead and pick up at the window. This is our new go to spot!

12/16/23 - what a cool spot. The interior decor is so cute. The staff was super nice and patient. I got the south Pacific farmer bowl to go. Lots of items to choose from the menu but not overwhelming. The bowl was so good. I would really like to come back and try some other items. Hopefully I can soon! I highly recommend trying the food and stopping by.

I have never had a bad meal at Aloha Snacks VB! In fact, it is one of the reasons we come back to Virginia Beach each year. The menu has great variety and you want to try one of everything. I recommend going with a group so everyone can get something different and everyone can have a taste! Also, don't sleep on the malasadas!

The food here was delicious. I got the cheesesteak bulgogi, which came with a small side of waffle fries. Very filling! My husband got the cured tuna bowl. It’s pricey, but very yummy and fresh tasting. Healthy dish. The service was great. We sat outside on the patio. Great experience and food.

This place is phenomenal. We were greeted with warm hospitality as soon as we entered the door at around 9:15 am. The chef was prepping for the day so it took a few minutes to be served. But there was a variety of delicious menu items to choose from. I chose a Nutella malasada, which is a scrumptious Portuguese donut that has sugar on the exterior. I also got fries to go and the chef offered to make them as we were about to leave so that they would be as fresh as possible. The Nutella malasada was crisp, warm and made fresh in house everyday. I usually don’t enjoy donuts but this was incredibly soft, crunchy and addicting. The waffle fries were dusted in this peppery salt mixture that makes you want to lick your fingers. It is served with two sauces: a huli huli sauce and an American house made special. I died and ascended when I had a bite of the huli-huli sauce and the fries. I wasn’t a huge fan of the American house sauce, but it did add a richness to the fries. But by far, the huli huli sauce is to try. It was filled with umami sweetness from tomatoes, a warm spiciness and a touch of something I couldn’t truly identify. This restaurant is an amazing place to eat. From the warm hospitality to the lovely staff, Aloha Snacks is *the* place to visit in Virginia Beach.

This place has a great vibe and absolutely stellar poke bowls. The beer selection doesn't seem to be huge but it's great, I found something new and very tasty. I had a great light dinner with family and we'll come back the next time we vacation here. I have to admit I was not thrilled with the fries, but that's mostly because they were different than I expected. They were a well-made side regardless.

I am getting married in the USVI next year and I was on the hunt for a painkiller scented candle to use in my bridal party proposals! After some deep research I came across Aloha Snacks custom candle and I reached out. Chef Jesse was an absolute gem in communication and going the extra mile to ship me these candles quickly so I can share with my friends. When I received them he had packaged them up so safely and secure, there was no chance they were going to break. I hope to make it down to this delicious eatery soon!

I love coming here. The food is wonderful. I wish there was more seating, but it's worked out alright each time. My favorite are the Korean sticky wings--run don't walk!

Nice corner location with ample parking. You get transported to a cool hipster place without a care in the world. Merchandise greets you as you enter the first set of doors. It's like an elevated tiki bar atmosphere. Service is nice and friendly. Jesse even gave us his number to contact as he had wanted immersive experience for his patrons where the island dance can be taught even just once at this cool place. I ordered the poke bowl with ahi tuna, fried green tomato, avocado, greens. It was good.

Dined here Sat afternoon, lumpia is tasty, gnarly burger is cheesy and meaty, and chicken sammy is saucy and good. Fries are all right. There’s parking which is great, there’s an outdoor seating area. I will say the food is a bit on the saltier side.

The Pineapple Smoothie was really good! Also had the loaded fries and they were great as well.
