First time customer. I was greeted right away, sat down and looked over the menu, lots of choices to choose from. It started raining and the waitress asked everyone if their windows were up. About 10 minutes later another waitress went around and asked everyone if they needed anything from the store because she was going out in the rain. The atmosphere was nice and calm, the staff was personable and genuinely cared about their customers, and the music was at a perfect volume. The food and service was excellent, I definitely plan on going again.
The food and service were exceptional. I cant say enough how good the staffs are. The foods are a bit on the pricey but not by much relative to other nearby places. Will sure to come back again.

This place is a family resturaunt. Things have changed a bit in the last several months since a death in the family but that's not a negative. The food is all delcious I'm partial to the soups and tacos but the only thing I haven't had was the large egg pancake. l Love this place
Wonderful, delicious food. Friendly, amazing staff.. I love this restaurant! The employees are so nice, and completely helpful with the menu. They don't make you feel bad for not knowing the pronunciations.
And the food is great! I haven't had anything that I haven't absolutely loved.
Delicious! The bulgogi is awesome! Love the fact that you can ask for really spicy, since the Korean restaurant in my hometown has a level 1-10 and that's what I'm used to. The little side dishes were tasty too! The server was very knowledgable and helpful. I will definitely be back.
Yum-tastic!. Their service was outstanding! The miso soup was fantastic. The cucumber kimchi salad was perfect. Great edamame. I had the best spicy vegetarian roll I have ever eaten! I absolutely would recommend this place to anyone. Best food and service I have ever had at a sushi place.
Very Good!!! Very Authentic!!!!. I am not Korean but I did spend 12 months there as a service member. The food is amazing.... they don't scrimp on the authentic sides and the service is fast and friendly.

We had lunch and ordered Dolsot Bi Bim Bab and Ja Jang Myun ( I hope I am correct in spelling) which were absolutely wonderful. The Ban Chan was a bit limited but quite tasty too. The service was welcoming and very friendly and the ambiance felt nice and cozy. We can't say that we are big experts on Korean food but we LOVE it and had our multiple share of restaurants in New York's Koreatown and Flushing. We think Asahi is in some points tasted better then most of them. We deffinitely going to be back every time we are in the area and it has our highest recommendation to all who loves Korean food.
Two shades past Awesome. I stopped in on a weekend night having gotten word that they had great Korean food at Asahi. I actually passed by the place while looking for it - missing the small strip mall it is in. They evening I was there - they were out of beef for the bulgogi, so I decided that I needed to try my other favorite item - bibimbap. I liked the side dish plates - alot - and what items they may be is always hit or miss for me - but all were very good here- and I had to get a restock of the kimchi - which was fantastic. The bibimbap was super as well - and I give a very high recommendation for Asahi to be one of the best local places to fix your needs for a great Korean food lunch or dinner. Look forward to getting to try the bulgogi on the next visit.

If i could give 7 stars then i would. Came to celebrate our 8 years anniversary during dinner, food was delicious, the service was superb and very generous.
She surprised us with free dessert and some soju for the anniversary 😊 Thank you eonni, and we will def come back if we visit the town again.
Outstanding service! Came in on a very hot and humid evening for a quick meal. I was greeted and served by the owner who made sure I had everything I needee: cold punch, barley tea,water, and side dishes.

I can't say enough good things about Asahi! Generally run by a mother-daughter team (mom's cooking, daughter waiting tables), you'd think there were tons of people in the kitchen for how fast the food comes out. And it's delicious! The level of service is unparalleled. Three of us came for dinner. One person got a stomachache midway through the meal due to ongoing medical issues totally unrelated to the food. The waitress immediately noticed and brought him what he said was the best bone broth he's ever had, as well as a 7-Up to help settle his stomach. She noticed how much we liked the tea and brought us to-go cups of it with our check. Our total for three dinners with appetizer was just over $80.
I've been here many times and it's always such a wonderful time. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants anywhere.
I rarely give 5 stars but this place was amazing. The food was great. We had the Hot Stone Bibimbap and Fish Soup. Both were as good as (or better than) anything I've ever had in Korea. I think the banchan, soy sauce, and chilli paste are made in house. The lady helping us could not have been more friendly. A very nice experience. I can't wait to go back with more friends. Best dining experience I have ever had! Food is outstanding, but the service is even better. After traveling and dining all over the world, this unassuming spot will have my girlfriend and I coming back every single time. Literally the sweetest, most attentive and kind server we have ever had, while her mom was in the back cooking us phenomenal authentic Korean food. Can’t say enough great things about this place! Would recommend to everyone and anyone.
AMAZING!!! A must go spot! Everything was delicious!!! Small menu, but that only made each dish better. You can tell everything is made to order, fresh and hot when it arrives to you. And service was just the best I have ever had anywhere, so nice and always checking up making sure everyone was doing good. Don’t live here anymore but it’s on my list of must go back to when in town. You need to go and check this spot out and support this amazing small spot!
We could not be more pleased with the service, food, atmosphere and prices. We got the Hot Stone Bibimbap, Kimchi Jjigae and Steamed Dumplings. The complementary tea was plentiful and delicious, we enjoyed it so much we were sent home with some. Every last item was delicious and extremely filling. The portions were big enough for my husband and I to share and soup to take home.

I've been going here with my wife since 2018. The owner and main waitress are super nice. I have never gone here and not felt like I was eating at some wholesome distant relatives house just serving me the best they have to offer. They are courteous, and provide you anything even if it's not in the menu. I can't believe seeing anyone giving this place a 1 star. If the entire review section is 5 stars and you're one of the 3 negative reviews, you're the one who's wrong. The menu has decreased in size but this only signifies that they concentrate on these individual dishes even more so making them delicious. I always get free drinks to go and an extra desert every time. The people at Asahi really remember you and call you by your first name. I may have not been to Korea but this is some of my favorite Korean food places ever! So if you like quaint and traditional food with probably one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had... and I always have a great time there. I've been there dozens of times and plan on going even more. No other Korean restaurants compare. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
