Ive reviewed this place before but I had to take a pause to review it again. The oysters are always a treat! $1 locals and they where well rounded and medium succulent with a subtle brine. The oyster list is attached but the island pearl were my favorite! To continue on our food journey, we moved to the salmon deviled eggs. Whipped to perfection with a fresh slab of salmon (pastrami style) on top, the green curry mussels - mussels were mid to small, cooked perfectly but I wanted more meaty mussels in this because the broth was strong on flavor but lacking on extras like a bell pepper or duck sausage would add to depth of that broth and 1 tiny slice of bread to soak it up with wasn't enough, can we make it 2 or 3 please? The portion of mussels where great but after about 6 to 8 just ate a little one note- something additional in the bowl/broth would help with that. Finisher was the cheeeeburger and fries which is an easy go to here with the thin smash burger juicy and charred double patty style with fries golden brown exterior and soft inside for only $6. We ordered cactus flower cocktails - which were delicious and refreshing, and went down too easily so we moved on to the muscadet (white wine) on the menu which was a clean mildly citrus white, went fabulously with the oysters. Then I asked Colin if he felt like being creative so he made me this sexy cocktail that felt like satin and spice with a thoughtful charred mint and cucumber to top it (recipe attached). My friend had a Colin special paloma next which she dubbed as an upscale spin on the classic. This guy can pour and he is enjoyable for banter and incredibly observant as you want any bartender at a perfect dining experience at the bar to be. Thanks Colin for a great few hours and for your creativity and laughs along the journey!

Came here for a quick oyster happy hour. I wasn't disappointed. Delicious $1 oysters along with three local oyster bakes. They were delicious and it was a great way to try different kinds of oysters without paying too much. Amazing waitress who was very attentive to my needs and answered all my questions. Definitely coming back I will have to make this my weekly spot. One drawback the drinks are a bit pricey but during happy hour it's about average priced

What an excellent place to brings friends and relax while enjoying the great service, atmosphere and food! The place was packed at 5 on a Thursday but we were put on the call list and got in within 30 minutes. There's a wonderful variety of small plates that are delicious and reasonably priced. The servers were friendly and attentive. Couldn't have been more pleased with every aspect of our experience here!

Great food, service, and value! Drinks creative, well-balanced, and plenty strong - especially liked the lighter rose sangria. Lots of great tapas-style options - jalapeño cheddar cornbread good, maybe a little dry, but ham and pimento sweet potato biscuits are an absolute must try! Beet salad, crab risotto, burger, shrimp and chorizo empanada, and pimento plate all very nice. Gooey butter cake for dessert another must-try!

There’s good reason for this place to be as highly reviewed as it is. The food was phenomenal, with every dish we ordered coming out in a timely manner. My favorites were the calamari, crab dip, lobster pasta and very surprisingly, their burger! It seems like the type of restaurant where you can’t go wrong with any food you order. Brad was our server and he was great. Highly recommend coming to this gem of a restaurant

I have been to this place a few times and always seemed to enjoy it more and more. Didn’t realize that had become a favorite lol. The service is always amazing. Valet parking during the summer tourist season is a necessity and very underrated! The food is very delicious and you will leave very satisfied. I have tried and enjoyed most of the seafood dishes. I plan to try everything on the menu once. I love the atmosphere and decor. This place vibrates with all things VA Beach.

Great food. My husband ordered the rye tai and I ordered moonshine. Both had great flavor. The pimento cheese and smoked trout was phenomenal. He ordered the snow crab and I ordered the stuffed spinach artichoke pasta. It was good but it lacked the tomato saffron sauce tremendously. It was a bit hard to get done but it might’ve been a mistake. Overall we are looking forward to coming back.

Best food experience I've had in awhile! Food quality is impeccable, happy hour pricing and variety gets you a taste of everything! We've always had great service, and sitting at the oyster bar is fun. We make the 2-hour drive from Richmond just to come here.

This place has great happy hour specials $1 per oyster and great cocktail prices for happy hour. The food here is special with lots of variety and there is deviled eggs with salmon on top and everything seasoning. The oysters are delicious especially the Chesapeake oysters as well as the Pacific oysters. The chicken sandwich was decent. The crab dip was lacking crab in my opinion. The empanada was really tasty. All in all this place is very popular and has a very trendy feel to it. Lots of people enjoying themselves at the large bar and the raw bar. The food came out pretty quickly during the Happy hour despite the restaurant being very busy.

Fantastic place! We happened to get there 30 minutes before closing and were welcomed with open arms and treated as if we had reservations all along. Everyone from the hostess to the waitress were wonderful. The oysters were fresh and delicious. Literally every dish was perfectly prepared, but the absolute cherry on top was the birthday shot. Blew my mind!!!! I highly recommend The Atlantic.
