Went to VA Beach for 3 days, and went here for dinner twice. The selection is great, sushi is fantastic, hibachi and hot foods met expectations, seafood was different both nights which made it feel like a different experience.
Desserts were just okay but I never expect much from buffet desserts.
Went Saturday night and Monday night, no wait time and food was hot and fresh.
Price could be $10 more and I'd still say it's a good value. Go and enjoy yourselves!
This was our first time here. OMMMGGGG the food was delicious. Warm and worth every penny. Def stop in for a great meal. 😁👍🏼👍🏼
It's cozy inside, many types of sushi. I tried them all, and desserts are yummy, not too sweet. All the foods are delicious at a very reasonable price for each customer. The tall girl who was severed our table is good managed, and gave us comfortable space to enjoy the foods. I will come back. A+
It's an ok buffet for a good price. Maybe they have more options for dinner, but lunch was somewhat limited. Sushi was not bad at all. Dessert options could be better. Service is efficient. Overall, was pleased.
It's great to be back here after a couple of years! They have a great variety of food and give military discount. 👍👍
Update: My husband commented that they didn't have fried chicken wings on our visit on 7/22/23. Other than that, it was great!
Update July 2023: We stop by here everytime when we are in VA Beach. The value is just too good for what you get. I've uplaoded new photo of Buffet price which looks like it has gone up about $1 since last year. Not sure if it' worth doing dinner over lunch unless you're looking for something specific and going after those higher value items. I think lunch is much more worth it now as I don't eat anywhere as much as I used to and there is still a large variety of food options. Still incrediable value overall for what you get. Added additional photos to my review as well from most recent visit.
April 2022: Food was good as usual and the price very hard to beat. Would visit again for sure. We've visited more than a dozen times and stop by at least once each time we visit va beach.
I absolutely love the squid salad, and the seaweed salad was really good! The sushi was good. The walnut shrimp was good. My sister said the steam fish was good. The restaurant is clean. We got there after lunch, so the food on the hot buffet needed to be freshened up, but it was still tasty. The price is right for the lunch buffet! We're going back when we have free time.
The lady at the podium who seats you was SOO nice! Don’t think I’ve met a host as sweet as her! The man who filled our drinks was great at keeping them filled and taking plates away. He was also so very nice! They have a great array of food and while I didn’t get to try everything, everything I had was really good. Loved the sushi and their dumplings were amazing. Only think is I feel like the price for kids is a bit high. About $8 for 4 year old and those under like 6-7 never really eat much. I think 2 and under is free though! The price for adults is a little high for a weekday $22 but that’s okay. I think the only downside is the dessert, last time I had been I tried most of them and the flavor was not good. Loved the powdered nuts though! But I feel overall it was really good; the lighting, music, variety and flavor of food alone with AMAZINGLY sweet staff is what made it!
It was my first time and I will come back! The food is amazing! You can eat as much as you want. You can try all the sushi. Service and sitting design could be better but food is 10/10
First of all, food was fresh and our server was attentive and around whenever we needed a drink refill or the empty plates needed to be taken away. Selection of the buffet was not that many but since its a Japanese restaurant, there was a lot of sushi variety. We enjoyed the crabs, crawfish and oysters in addition to the sushi bar. There is also a Hibachi grill where they’ll prepare the noodles for you. Then there’s ice cream for desserts for the kids. We loved the food here, the decoration and the service. Will definitely go back if we are looking for a seafood buffet in Virginia Beach. The Saturday price was $21.99 for adults and $13.99 for kids if I remember correctly. With the price of everything going up and inflation rising, I personally think it is a good deal.
