What a delicious breakfast for my 1st visit to the newly established Belvedere Coffee Shop! The service was quick, friendly & helpful. The meals were cooked just as ordered! French toast (excellent) Scrambled Eggs with Cheddar (Yum), Bacon & Links (perfect), & Over easy Eggs (just right)

Located as part of the Moxy. Belvedere is nice and clean (new construction in 2023 according to their history on the menu). Staff is friendly and accommodating. Food was good and prices reasonably. We had French toast breakfast, patty melt, and side of fruit. It’s open daily 6:30 am to 2 pm.
Food is great!!! Simple menu. Classic diner fare. Clean and bright atmosphere!! Service was friendly buta little slow. I’ll chalk it up to it being recently opened. I’m sure it will improve in time. I will definitely be returning regularly!!!
Everything we had was delicious and on point. The service was fast and friendly. The decor was quintessential Americana as well with a view of the beautiful Moxy Hotel this place calls home.. Having a classic diner putting out tasty dishes is a breath of fresh air. There is something to be said for nostalgia and that comfort that comes from getting exactly what you want and expect, especially when it tastes so good.
My husband and I celebrated his birthday at Moxy in Virginia Beach. This was just by chance, and we loved everything about it. We stopped at the Belvedere for breakfast and the staff was friendly, funny attentive, and just an absolute delight. Shout out to our new breakfast spot when in Virginia. This is the staff that made it all possible with their superb service. Maegan the manager on point, food popping, love her. Monica, crazy, and delightful, her service, sense of humor, as well as her suggestions for fun things to do. Marilyn making sure my eggs were to my satisfaction. Shannon, thank you for keeping my coffee coming and providing me with French vanilla cream. For hubby’s birthday they surprised us with that ice cream delight. I will see you all soon. Thank you for making us feel home away from home. ❤️
I had been to the previous location many times and absolutely loved it. So I had high hopes for the new location. The food was 10/10 just as I remembered it. The pancakes are hands down the best you can get in the area, and The Eye Opener breakfast sammy is hard to beat. I miss the old dinery feel of the last location, but they did a nice job with trying to replicate it. The service could use some improvements- you could tell a lot of the waiters are new. We waited a little while to be addressed when we first walked in and they could improve their seating process, but other than that our waitress was great and our food came out promptly! We will definitely be back.
The service here was absolutely fantastic! The food was great (hash browns were surprisingly amazing) and the vibe is pretty cool. Definitely recommend!
Ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Was nice and fresh. It came with a side of hashbrowns. Customer services were excellent !!!! And the landscape is gorgeous..

A high temperature of 79F on November 9th, so my friend and I decided to head to the boardwalk for breakfast and a walk. We loved the old Belvedere and were anxious to try the new location.
We arrived just before 8 a.m. and the main door to the diner was locked and entry was thru the hotel. We entered the diner and the booths were either occupied or required cleaning from the last customers. We sat at the counter.
The waitress showed up without an order pad or pen to take our drink order as well as the couple next to us. She provided us water and I had asked for coffee with cream. She brought it back quickly. We and the couple next to us ordered. There were two cooks. Their pace may have been slower since it is not tourist season but they were attentive to the orders.
I ordered the pancake breakfast ($14): 2 pancakes, 2 eggs scrambled, hash browns, 3 sausage links, and white toast.
I let my friend try the pancakes and she loved them - perfect, a must order next time for her. No loss of food prep from the old location,
The food is tops #1. The staff I'm mixed on. Booths not cleared, not prepared to take orders, no sense of urgency to prepare orders; however, friendly and the breakfast served was delicious.
The new location is small, it does have an outdoor seating area for the summer months. The bottom line is to overlook any minor issues, relax, and enjoy a great breakfast at a very reasonable price.
Kind staff. Delicious food. Inside a very cool, hip hotel! 👏🏻
