La Rumba Mexican Restaurant

I stopped here yesterday on a whim because I wanted a chicken quesadilla and they were the first Mexican restaurant I saw. The parking lot was full so I took that as a good sign. The service was pretty slow but I wasn't in a hurry. The menu was a little confusing because the chicken quesadilla by itself was $5 and some change and a side order of beans and rice are both $2 and some change each. If I ordered them separately it would be about $10. They had a meal of a chicken quesadilla with rice and beans for over $12. so I ordered the chicken quesadilla and a side order of Mexican rice. The chips and salsa were okay, not the best I've had but not the worst. When my food arrived the first thing I noticed was how greasy the quesadilla was. to be honest that did not even bother me because it tasted really good. The only thing that I would say could use improvement is there was too much salt! Other than that I thought it was a really good chicken quesadilla. The rice had peas and carrots in it and tasted fine. I would definitely come back for the chicken quesadilla. Unfortunately I didn't take any pics because I was pretty hungry and the food took a little while so I started eating as soon as I got it, lol. Update: I visited again June 21, 2020 and I completely forgot that they overcharged if you order the meal instead of everything separately so I ordered the meal for $12 and it ended up being almost $14 for a chicken quesadilla and a side order of beans and rice. The chicken quesadilla was much less greasy this time but there was still the issue with so much salt. Overall I think the chicken quesadilla tasted great and the service was much better this time as well. I was surprised at how quickly my food came out compared to last time but I think it was an issue with the server last time. Update: I visited August 24, 2020 and ordered just the chicken quesadilla. It was so plain this time! The salsa didn't really have a taste either, it was flavorless. The chicken quesadilla was much better last time even though it was a little greasy and had too much salt. This time it was dry and didn't really taste like anything. I don't know if they have a different cook or what but it definitely wasn't good.

Great Service, and super Delicious Food! My Favorite are the Burger here!
