This place is pretty good. It’s got an interesting decor, patio seating, a bakery and the staff is nice.
I came here today for lunch with some friends and had the prime rib dip with onion rings.
The fruit tart is great. Filling is light and not too sweet.

Best Cafe and Bakery in Orange County. My friend was turning fifty and I needed the perfect cake! For years I have heard people raving about Rockwell's Café and Bakery in Villa Park; I was told they had the best bakery in all of Orange County (it had even been voted number 1 by Foxla) so I decided to try. I have to say their service was top notch. I was greeted as I walked in the door. Once they found out I was there for a cake they asked questions (how many people, what kind of party and they even asked about the guest of honor). I mentioned that he was in a band and that we were getting him a guitar; she recommended that we did a guitar cake. Once that was settled she offered samples of different cakes and fillings; the cake was heavenly (I chose the marble cake with fudge filling)! When I picked up the cake it was better then I imagined; this wasn't your ordinary cake it was a designer cake. It was definitely the hit of the party and people are still talking about it! I now I understand why it is talk of the town...
As for the restaurant, if you are looking for a local place with outstanding food and service this is the place. I started with the steamed mussels (they are to die for). For dinner I had Filet Mignon and it and it was phenomenal; it was cooked so perfectly that it melted in my mouth. It was accompanied by your choice of soup or salad (I had French Onion Soup), the best blu cheese risotto I ever had and fresh vegetables. My server was attentive and friendly; I felt like I was a guest in her home (my glass of water was never below halfway). I almost forgot the wine, they offered a variety of wines that complemented your meal and they were reasonably priced (I had Estancia). Bottom line this place is a hidden treasure/a must try!
I have a slight Bias. I challenge any professional bakery! We have the highest regaurd for quality hands down! Need a custom cake... no problem, need one of the signature designs that has made Rockwell's a house hold name for over the past 20 years... no problem. Went here for a birthday gathering and it’s a real cool spot. Nice looking bar with a neighbor hood vibe.
The live band element is excellent and the outdoor patio area looks great for the hot summer nights. Tried the Brussels sprouts with bacon and it was delicious. The red velvet cake they gave out for my buddy’s birthday was definitely rich and delicious, I should of got ice cream with it.
I’ll definitely come back for a drink or a bakery item next time. Great spot for a gathering for sure!
First time coming there and oh my goodness, love the vibe. Was attended to quickly, was there to pickup one of there signature cakes. Was delicious, the cake moist,It did not disappoint. The cinnamon roll I picked up while waiting for my cake was so good, all the cakes, cupcakes and cookies looked fresh and delicious. The young lady who helped me was great as well, I wish I caught her name to give her praise on the review.10/10. Highly recommend.
This place has a little of everything, a bakery, a café, and my favorite, a bar area with nice size tvs to watch games. I had a cheese danish and coffee, to which I will now compare all others! Absolutely delicious. I will be back to try their menu soon.
I've eaten here before and the food is great. This time I ordered a red velvet cake. The cakes and pastries are excellent.
This was my 1st time here and I was pleasantly surprised. Loved the decor and the lighting. Richard was our server and did an excellent job. He went above and beyond to take care of us. The food was delicious! Loved how it wasn't too loud that you could have a conversation with your guests. The owner was there and he was gracious and happy to meet a first time guest. Definitely a place to dine at. We'll be back for sure!!
I had Rockwell’s make my son’s 3rd birthday cake - dinosaur themed and I wanted dinosaur egg-shaped cake pops for the party. I sent Julie a picture of what I wanted and they did everything perfectly! The cake and cake pops were a HUGE hit and they were all absolutely delicious and everything looked so professionally done. It was a bit expensive but overall I am so pleased with how everything turned out. My son was so happy! Will definitely use them again!

When you come to our office chances are pretty high you will see a big white box of goodies from Rockwell's! We love their assortment of freshly baked muffins, danishes, scones and the absolutely delectable cinnamon rolls. You really can't go wrong when it comes to choosing something everyone in the office will love because everything is just so yummy. Customer service is fantastic and ordering is always a breeze. If you are ever thinking of bringing a white box of Rockwell's baked goods to the office, do not think...just go!
The breakfast is great here. They have some excellent chicken wings here too. I mostly sit in the bar area, the patio is very nice.
I've been here many times since we moved to Orange. This is our "go-to" spot for breakfast. I love the food and service. The bakery is also amazing!
I was excited to have dinner here with my Mom and sister. Tried the fried pickles' salty yum! We shared pot pie and a sandwich. The best part was the dessert! I had box cake... and coconut macaroon. Prices are good and portion sizes are too. Will definitely be back!
