The Atrium Cafe

We were in DC for a meeting, and it was a great location. There are two malls directly across the street and a lot of dinning options in the area. The Metro is across the street at the mall as well and is part of the Silver line. The restaurant in the hotel is fine, the menu was not much to our liking but OK in a pinch. The main guy working the night we went was great! The hotel staff was very friendly and very responsive, we will definitely stay again when back in the area. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the hotel on this trip.

Really nice place. With Hilton Honors app you just walk in and walk out. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because I’m a bitter old man. Stayed there one night to be near the office. Checked out and then found out the person I needed to meet with called in sick. So I needed to stay another night and the price shot up. Not their fault. I tried to get them to cut me a break and they did a little. Just wasn’t deep enough. Breakfast was really good. And they have a hotel restaurant/pub. I just stuck my head in when I arrive and it was jumping.

In town for the circus. Lol Pros: -Conveniently located across the street from the Cirque de Soleil big top. Making it a short walk to the show. - Visually appealing inside and out, clean lobby and rooms - Great water pressure and water temp for the shower. - Rooms are a cozy size - Staff was nice and personable - Parking in the garage Cons: - Street noise was loud throughout the day and night - Beds were uncomfortable - No microwave in rooms - No menus for restaurant in rooms - Cookies at check-in were warm :/ - Digital key option wasn't working

On our trip to the Washington DC area for Tony's 61st Birthday, we stayed at the Double Tree Inn by Hilton. This was a very lovely hotel located near many shopping and dining options. Tony and I enjoyed our $34 bar/restaurant credit because we are Diamond Hilton Honor members. Lots of parking! Great friendly staff! The bartender was so friendly and helpful. There is a great bar and restaurant on site. We enjoyed the outside seating patio. Definitely recommend and definitely will stay again if and when in the area.

Location was great for what we needed. Rooms were normal hotel rooms, nothing super special but clean and nice. Service was excellent, the staff were all super friendly and helpful. Elevator situation was slightly annoying. We had to walk to the opposite side of the hotel to use an elevator over there.

The Front Desk Staff that I have chatted with over the phone and at the Desk Counter and are so professional and courteous. I've been to many Hotels but they All have a Special added touch in their service to Customers. I'm so well pleased at how they make sure you know everything and answer your questions and concerns. When it goes to the Food Service the Service I had did Not check on me to see how my meal was or if I needed anything else. I was Not pleased with my choice of selection of entree. It was something with Chicken Cheese Bacon Melt. The bread was extremely hard and crusty black around the edges. I had to tear the edges off and still then the food was Not tasty because the sandwich was cold and I had ti eat it because it was too late to make a change. When I called the Waiter over and explained the situation he replied "that's how this sandwich is supposed to be prepared." 😄🤔 If I wanted a lukewarm sandwich and hard burnt bread that would've be fine but No Indeed. I do plan to speak with the Dining Mgr. of my concerns today. I was displeased with my meal except for French Fries that was very hot for the most part and cooked well.
