Had a wonderful experience at my first time at blend 111! All the options on the menu looked delicious it was hard to choose! I wound up getting the shrimp pasta that was so refreshing and a great blend of flavors! Loved the atmosphere and service was impeccable! Everyone should try this gem in Vienna out!

Great ambience and quality, fresh dinner selection. Menu was limited in terms of choices but everything ordered was well composed and tasted delicious. Service was on par with a luxury hotel.

Perfect dinner for an intimate birthday gathering. The four of us split four different starters and then halibuts and steaks. The flavors were amazing and the wine was a delightful compliment.
Although this place is expensive, if you can afford it for a special occasion definitely drop by.

Good food and good service. Decent restaurant week pricing. Got a same-day reservation on a Thursday. Restaurant week items came off the regular menu. Had an app, a delicious and generous chicken entree, and choice of three desserts. We will definitely be back.

Blend is a such a refreshing spot in Vienna with its latin food offerings. The food was gourmet style (small portions) but it was also DELICIOUS! Full of unique flavors even down to the cocktails (pricey)! But again, delicious and unique. Sit outside if you can in good weather; the tent style covering with an open area were a total vibe!

It may be shocking to hear but I would only recommend dine-in for dinner. This review is based on my brunch reservation on a Saturday. OH, and remember to make reservations because walk-in seems to be frowned upon even though there covers were light.
All the interesting entrees [like ceviche, crab arepas, tamarind-glazed rib, market fish] that I would of ordered (and yes, I would have ordered more than one to taste test and share with my dining group) were only available from the dinner menu. Instead, we ordered the following (see pics):
>> corn fritters .... mostly sweet corn meal with few sweetcorn kernels,
>> pork plantain hash, brisket cachapa .... largely underwhelming flavors
>> cappucino, tres leches, marquesa desserts ..... the best part of the meal!
I think I would just come here for the desserts and coffee. Note that the entrees and appetizers tasted quick fresh but the flavors all seems subdued. So I had high-expectations and the overall brunch seemed pricey but one is paying for the freshness and originality. In any case, if you decide to come, make reservations for dinner and definitely save room for dessert.

Good food and great service. Not a fan of the recent switch to tapas style.
Its too bad they lost the patio, that was such a great spot.

What a fabulous experience full of beautifully crafted dishes. The elevated culture centric dishes are an excellent execution of the chef's blended Latin roots. This taste of Columbian and Puerto Rican cuisine was both pleasing to the eyes and palate. This is one of my top meals within this year. I will definitely be back. Without writing a journal entry, I will say some of the flavors contained punchy passion fruit forward acids in ceviche, to a fully saturated plate of colors starring hearts of palm with a memorable batata with black sesame puree, bordered by two beautiful oils/sauces. That was just two appetizers. Hopefully the pictures convey the level of care and love that goes into each plate at Blend 111. 👏🏼

Great food. Good atmosphere (music, layout, decor). Friendly and attentive staff. Between the table of four we had the rellenos de conejo appetizer (the best in my opinion), ceviche appetizer, pabellón criollo, picada de champiñones, and fideuá de mariscos. All of the entrees were awesome. The level of spice that was present was mainly momentarily intense, then subtle. The bourbon drinks manzana prohibida (warm), and avispas (my favorite) were both really interesting, flavorful, and refreshing. Dessert around the table was marquesa, tres leches, and pastel de zanahoria, of which there were no complaints. It’s definitely worth checking out, and will be interested to see what menu offerings are in the future .
