Red Wagon

Just driving through the city and found this place. As soon as we walked in we just got looks from everyone. I hate to say this but I dont know if its because the color of our skin or because they just don't care for non locals. People just kept staring at us. At first the older lady (waitress) was the same towards us but she got nicer the longer we stayed. She seems rude or mean but I think that's just how she comes across. I got a regular cheeseburger and my husband got the double meat cheeseburger with county fried bacon. Both burgers came with fries and they were very good. The burgers were very good as well even though the meat seems to be frozen patties. My husband loves extra lemons with his tea and finally we found a place that understands the meaning of extra. One thing we will say is be careful when paying. Make sure they are charging you only for what you ordered. They seemed to over charge us for something, not sure what it was though. The restaurant could use some cleaning up. Seems to have a lot of clutter in the back and all around.

Went for lunch and soooo glad we did!!! Such a nice place with great people, love the country decor. And the food- oh my- just what we like! Good cooking! Had lunch special chicken fried steak(and I asked before I ordered it was NOT pre made frozen- they hand battered themselves) and it was HUGE!!! And delicious, as were the carrots and mashed potatoes. One of our new favorite places 👍🏻
