Ordered the Uncle Mutt's Plate (3 meat) with fried okra & cole slaw and a side of fried sweet corn. The lean brisket was not dry nor to greasy, the ribs slipped of the bone like a hot knife through butter & the sausage was tasty as well. The fried okra was great as was the cole slaw. The Fried Sweet Corn was spot one of the best I have ever had. Worth the trip & definitely worth the price. This plate will serve two people easily Will promote it & will definitely return.
Fantastic little BBQ joint. The food was all perfect. The brisket not too dry and seasoned well. The chopped beef was great, as was the sausage. Couldn't tell you about the ribs, as my wife and son refused to share because they loved them so much! The sides were all good. The atmosphere was really charming too. Fair price for this quality of BBQ. Almost stopped by on our way out of town to pick some more up to take home, and found out I have several coworkers who do just that every time they're in Victoria. 10/10 would recommend this as your weekend lunch stop!

The black man named Ray was very nice and very helpful! The food was delicious! He needs a raise, especially after the service he provided. He was very knowledgeable about the food and also gave very detailed directions how to get to HEB. Thank you so much sir. You're the nicest man.
Got the two meat plate with brisket and sausage to go. Also had the bbq beans and okra. It was all good, but I would have liked more smoke on the meat.
I had my dinner at this place when I had to make my delivery at Walgreens that’s across the street. I was greeted professionally with respect. They asked me where I’m from because they heard foreign accent, and I said that I’m from Poland. They told me that they never had any one from Poland before at their restaurant. They really serve good local food. I strongly recommend this place and if you tell them that you came from different country they’ll give you little extra food at no extra cost.
Very good BBQ! The brisket, bake potatoes, the ribs...all is just delicious! Very casual place. When dining in it's a cafeteria style serving, pick and choose what you want, pay then get your drink and fixings! Staff always very friendly. My family go all the time we need a BBQ fix! 😁
The bbq is good. I had the two meat sausage and brisket. Brisket was very tender. The employees were very friendly and helpful! I do not like that they play political stations on the tv, but that is the owners choice…
My husband stopped by here passing through Victoria today. Everything was amazing. The food was outstanding, and the service was quick and friendly. The uncle mutt rice is a must try!!
Wow! Excellent Texas BBQ. The first thing you notice is the fresh smoky aroma when you drive into the parking lot. It gets better when you walk inside. Good selection of meats to choose from: brisket, ribs, chicken and sausage. The sides are classic dishes to go with BBQ. The seating area is clean and everything is well stocked. Very friendly and helpful staff! Overall great restaurant that's firing on all cylinders.
