We tried DeTomaso's Pizzeria for the first time this evening. I’ve been looking for a pizza comparable to The Harvest in Queensbury NY where I’m originally from for the last fifteen years. This pizza tastes like home. It’s a deep dish style, but not all greasy. The ingredients taste fresh. The crust is caramelized which make it especially delicious. The sauce has a nice flavor with herbs. My husband and son picked up two pizzas a veggie and a pepperoni. My husband said they were very friendly with outstanding service and gave us a free sampling of their Parmesan garlic and citrus chargrilled wings. I highly recommend chargrilled wings. They have a wonderful flavor and less fat than traditional wings. My husband started he noted it was very clean with one of the nicest decors of any pizza places he’s ever been in.
Omg! Phenomenal pizza and wings. The pizza is very authentic and refreshing from the average pizza shop. Loved the charbroiled wings as well. Establishment was so clean and well taken care of! I would highly recommend!
So I finally got around to trying their pizza, pretty good, solid, one pizza weighs a few pounds easy. Nice crispy cheesy crust. Thick sauce, lil zest. I prefer a sweet sauce but it was good. The honey garlic wings were great. Two slices and a few wings hit the spot for me.
If you haven't tried it you should, but make sure you like a pan pizza, that's what this is. No thin slices here talking hearty n filling.
Finally stopped,and ordered a pizza. Been wanting to try them for awhile. My brother tried them a couple of years ago,and said the pizza was tasty!! So I figured I had to try!! Who doesn't love a deep dish pizza?? So when I got it home. Boy let me tell ya it was delicious!!! You can just tell by the pic I included. I'll be going back!!! I'm a fan!!!
This place is a hidden gem in the Victor/Farmington area and definitely our go-to for deep dish. The one star reviewer who clearly tore up his pizza in order to defame this small business is a piece of work. I've ordered from these folks plenty and my pizzas arrive as seen in my photo every time. They taste delicious and the ingredients they use are amazing. I agree a little pricey, but you can see the time/ingredients put into each pizza are high value. I don't usually review places, I think this may be my first -- but I hope our community discovers this wonderful family owned unique pizza shop so that they stick around for a long time! Seriously every other place in the Victor area I've tried is the same generic slice. DeTomaso's is really onto something.
My boyfriend and I get DeTomaso’s pizza and wings almost weekly. Should I be ashamed to say that ? Probably. Am I ? Nope.
I was always 100% a ny style pizza girl. Until I tried DeTomaso’s pizza. Their crust is incredible and the perfect consistency and crunch! You can tell they put time and effort into their work and the ingredients are clearly top of the line. AND their wing flavors are phenomenal Whether you get traditional or char grilled- I haven’t tried any that I haven’t loved. The wings themselves are huge and well cooked and seasoned to perfection. Not to mention their family is the kindest bunch you will ever meet- it’s easy to support small business when they’re as great as these guys!
When I heard these guys were moving to Auburn I was immediately filled with excitement because pizza is my favorite.. social media was filled with positive comments about the quality of their food.. I have to say I tried their pizza for the first time yesterday and they did not disappoint me. It was amazing. Also the staff is amazing. Very friendly!
Char grilled wings are THE best wings in roc, I don't say this lightly. Super friendly on the phone, got our order up fast and threw us a complimentary fried dough. Excellent presentation on everything. Looking forward to trying each sauce they've got.
Fantastic pizza. I have been waiting to try it as the photos that pop up in my social media look delicious, and it did not disappoint! It’s a different style of pizza, but absolutely fantastic. I will head over many more times. I want to try the wings, but charred wings have never really been my thing. After the pizza, I will give them a shot. Really nice and welcoming owner.
The charred wings are delicious! Best wings i've had in the whole area. And I got the chicken parm sub - The thing was enormous and packed full of chicken. Absolutely delicious and they make the bread fresh every day. You never get those bites of just bread and sauce. Highly recommend!
This is best pizza & wings! And the grinders are HUGE! The staff is friendly and helpful & food was hot and worth the wait! Will return often!
This is a hidden gem in my opinion. The 12" deep dish pizzas with their caramelized crusts are very tasty. Their signature chargrilled wings have a great smokey flavor and aren't drowning in sauce.
My one disappointment is that they don't have any gluten free or carb friendly crust options.
Will definitely be returning however for the wings and a slice of pie.
