Taco Casa

I purchased two fiesta salads today. One was perfect and the other one was burnt. Sadly this isn’t the first time this has happened to me. The first time they were both burnt. This should have been disposed of instead of being served to a customer. I’m very sure they would not have liked it if someone served this to them. I called the restaurant and was told to bring it back for a replacement or a refund. I live almost an hour away. So, unfortunately for me, I must take a loss for someone else’s error in judgment. Driving that far to return it isn’t worth the gas it’ll take to do so. I’ve learned my lesson and I will not be returning to this restaurant. In the future I will be taking my money somewhere I am appreciated and valued as a customer.

Stopped in on 01/25/2020 for lunch during a school competition in Vicksburg. The first thing that caught my eye was that people were waiting to go into the place before it even opened. To me, that’s a sign of loyal customers. I ordered the enchilada plate, my wife ordered the grande nachos and daughter ordered the fiesta salad. Fantastic is the best word to describe the experience. Counter service was very friendly. Cashier helped me with ordering and was knowledgeable on the menu. Food was prepared fast and came out hot and fast. The food was perfectly seasoned and every meal was very much liked by my family. If you get the chance, stop by location and eat. You won’t be disappointed.

Very terrible. I ordered a plate with burrito and taco the meat tasted like it had fish in it 🤢. Husband ordered a taco burger...but what he got was a plate of slop looked like a sloppy joe with Mexican sauce 🤢🤮We left it at the table. So sick! Do your gut a favor eat somewhere else. Not even worth a half a star! 😼

[new review Sun., 10-Oct-2021] Had to drive ALL the way to Vicksburg (90 mi. round trip) because NONE of the 4x Metro Jackson Tractor Supply stores had EVEN 1 pint of Majik tractor paint catalyst hardener, and the Vicksburg TSC store had 5x pints on the shelf. 🙄😕😂 Nobody does inventory, anymore, but I digress. Lol Hit the Vicksburg Harbor Freight and Taco Casa ’cause, hey, rather tired of having to go to both the Ridgeland AND Pearl stores to find stuff on my list because nobody ever does inventory, anymore—at least the Vicksburg HF had 2x 50 ft. heavy duty garden hoses, not just those STUPID 100 ft. suckers to lug around and Taco Casa kicks @ss!!! But wish they made a REAL hot salsa but as Keef and Mick penned, “You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometime.You'll find. You get what you need.” 🙂😎 [old review timestamped “3 years ago” on Sun., 10-Oct-2021] Wow! These nachos were amazing! :-D Crisp chips with fresh, perfect cold/hot contrasting toppings. I was famished fixing to do a big high energy job this afternoon, so I threw in a veggie burrito. The XX sauce was just right, and the meal didn't break the bank, either. Perfect. ;-)

I'm pretty sure every Mexican grandmother would be horrified (very Americanized) but their menu is cheaper than Taco Bell's and the burritos are bigger. Can't speak to meat quality because I got the bean burrito. Everything made fresh to order so don't expect the speed of a typical fast food place. Service was friendly.

Wish I could give less than one star. I wanted a cup of ice with my order and was informed that they were unable to sell just ice because they only have one ice maker working. So I asked for a large Coke with no soda. I was informed that is still considered selling ice and they can not do that. I told her I would pay full price for a drink with no soda in it and she still said no. Really Taco Casa, I always look forward to stopping there when I am visiting Vicksburg but never again. To top it off they did not wrap the tacos but placed them in a large container all together. On the flip side, the food is still good but not worth the bad customer service
