Good, cheap tamales! They're small, so get at least a dozen for 2 ppl. Such a "hole in the wall," loved it!

Simply walk up to the window and order. We ordered a dozen hot'amales and they were ready within a couple minutes. Took em back to our hotel and enjoyed the hell out of em. Delicious!

Love the Tamale Place that CHILLI burger is everything. It’s a MUST stop on every visit home. Still the ONLY tamales I’ll eat.

I got the Tamale Supreme, small. You can see the beans, chili, and tamale in the pic (this is after I got through the very thick layer of nacho cheese). I'd say there was maybe 1.5 tamales in there. They are filled with beef by the way - not plain tamales.
I'll come back to get the half dozen, they were moist and tasty. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it's truly greasy-spoon food. Not high quality ingredients, but that's not what you're coming here for.th

Do not confuse this place with the restaurant. This is a pickup only establishment. I live 3 hours away and when I travel down south I always make the stop. If you are not afraid of grease then this is the place to go! I've been coming to this place for over 20 years. Best tamales I've ever had.....always consistent, never disappointed, the food is always great!
