Asian Chao

Hungry for a quick snack, I ordered two egg rolls while walking past Asian Chao in the Indian River Mall. Price was competitive and the server was friendly. Food, though, was lacking. Egg rolls were dry and tasteless. Doctored up with Duck Sauce, they were still tasteless, but were now flavored with Duck Sauce. Food court quality food was expected and food quality food was delivered. Next time, I will ignore the temptation for a snack.

First time going to this place and I was instantly disappointed. The one star rating is because the proportion was decent. I ordered Lo Mein and 2 things of broccoli and chicken. The chicken was dry and very bland and the broccoli was soggy and squishy. As for the Lo Mein....well I got thin spaghetti noodles with veggies and sauce. None of it had flavor and after two bites I threw it away as not even small dabs of soy sauce could save this. Maybe this was just an off day for them but I won't be returning and I try to support all the local eat joints that my pocketbook will allow me to.

The ladies are very rude and have terrible customer service skills. They give you hardly any food and upcharge you on everything and then try to close the box extremely fast thinking that you don't see what they're doing. How are they still open I can completely understand why everything is closing down in that mall now pick better restaurant owners to come in there and better customer service you might do better!!
