Ihop

I visited this IHOP this afternoon (May 25, 2022). I have been going here in the evening for years. It's clean, never crowded, the food, though standard IHOP, is very good (kudos to the cook), the staff is always more than gracious. Today as last week, Elisha took my order and was very friendly and attentive, God bless her. The service is also extremely fast: I had my meal surely within 5 - 7 minutes, but the order was simple. I like their poblano omelet with three pancakes. I like everything there - - but one thing. Today there were 3 really pesky, driven flies. Someone had left the door open. The waitress could do nothing about it, and neither could I. But next time I'm going to bring in a couple of those electric paddle swatters and leave one there. They are not only effective on those wretched creatures, but what a bunch of fun!

Server was fine. But yesterday we had a different cook named Brie who absolutely killed it it was delicious. But today once again we noticed the same young blood cook was there. Couldn't get his name. He looks like he's maybe 19 years old and used breaded chicken from a different meal to place the chicken I added into mine. The onions were missing and the red peppers from my omelet. There were literally two tiny chunks of each within the omelet. He has been working there over 4 months and hasn't learned a dang thing!! He needs to just go home and try to learn how to cook before he tries to make it a profession. Brie is the best cook out here who needs to either teach this little one how to do his job or just fire him!!! I have been cooking longer than he's been alive and I'll work there if it's necessary!! Also getting charged 6.29 for Mac and cheese that's not even a side I'd feed my kitten is just ridiculous. They don't take ihop rewards here either.

Staff was friendly, but food portions where small, fries were like from a kids meal. But the worst is that the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. Seriously, it smells like urine as soon as you step into the hallway, I don't know how they can sit at the front desk and ignore it. I've never written a review about a bathroom, that's how disgusting it was. Wish I'd have visited the bathroom before I ordered, if the bathroom is that bad, I'd hate to see the kitchen.

Restaurant was empty and still took over a half hour to get food. Coffee was gross and had grounds in it. Food Came out cold and didn't even get what I ordered (3 of us and we all ordered the same thing) server was HORRIBLE, never came out to see if we needed a refill on drinks, she was rude, and a nasty attitude fought with me when I told her I was brought the wrong food and told me it's not my store I DONT CARE!!! Worst dining experience ever!!! Never going back
