Citron Bistro is one of the best places to eat in Vero Beach. There is no ocean view but they make up for it with the atmosphere and the quality of their food. I had the open-faced chicken caprese and it was delicious!
I recommend making a reservation to ensure you can get a table. Perhaps even specify indoor or outdoor seating if you have a preference. We sat outside which was lovely but it was quite warm. There aren't fans and the buildings seem to block any breezes.
The only actual complaint I have is the single outdoor restroom they asked me to use. I'm surprised such an upscale establishment doesn't have an indoor restroom for their customers. There were several women waiting in line, with no shade, waiting for the restroom.

Had an amazing Scottish Salmon salad. Food was incredible! Menu has a great selection. Also enjoyed the best bloody mary I've ever had (didn't even know it was wine based).

Wow. We had an amazing experience. The pepper bacon jam crusted salmon was to die for. Also had a Mahi special that was delicious. Beautiful ambiance and awesome service. Can’t wait to come back 💕

very ordinary. food was just fair and did not reflect the price of the meal.
eating outdoors in a nice setting was great but not enough to make me return to this restaurant. shrimp and grits for $32 with 7 med shrimp and button mushrooms and $35 short rib that was not tender . The bacon jam crusted salmon was very good. the whole experience was Ordinary.

Absolutely love this place!! Excellent food, enjoyed the piano music last night while we sat in the bar area having appetizers and espresso martinis!! It was a great night!!

We enjoyed dinner here then came back for lunch the next day. We ordered the Mussels twice as it was so so delicious! The Calamari was crispy different and the Kale salad had a great mix of quinoa and cranberries…service was great too! Must try and enjoy outdoor dining!

What a wonderful place. The food and staff were amazing. Presentation of food really shows the hard work they do to prepare your meal. Luke was our server and he was phenomenal. If you go there ask for him.

Beautiful setting outside. My husband and I ordered the swordfish and the pork chop. Big portions along with our salad and calamari. Our server Luke was very pleasant and knowledgeable of items on menu and introduced my husband to a new beer. Ask for Luke, he'll certainly take care of you!!!
