Special place run by special people. Variation and authenticity of cuisine offerings are phenomenal in the dining room as well as the deli section. Delicious soups, sandwiches and salads as well as a quaint & well stocked market area featuring a collection of wines, craft beers, meats, cheeses, pastas, sweet treats and much more. A true gem in Vero Beach run by hardworking and community minded people that strive hard to provide the best customer service and experience anywhere. JD's wears many hats and can match any hankering you may have. Truly the best.

Johnny D's pizza is average on their best day. Their large pizza is a small to medium size in any of the long established 'pizza states' of this country. The toppings are sparse, crust is fair, and the consistency of the sauce is poor. Overall, they would be out of the pizza business if it wasn't for their location.

Best sandwich on the Treasure Coast.
I get the Pep's Italiano. They use homemade bread which separates them from the rest.
Sal knows exactly how I like my sub, and will begin to make it when he sees me come in.
Friendly staff with great ownership.
