Gold Cup Buffet

We stayed in a jacuzzi Jr suite, seems to be updated with newer furniture in room. Didn't win a thing in casino, machines Def seem to be set to lose more then win. We've came before and at least has fun going up and down with money but all down this time. Mr gs was decent we enjoyed it burger was a little over cooked.

Very nice small Hotel and Casino. The employees are great and the meal options for a Wednesday night were very limited. The downfall for me was the temperature in the bar area was freezing to the point I was shivering!! Not good for someone that was looking to have a few cocktails and relax after a long day, only option go to bed early 🙄

Room not clean or as pictured or described in website description.1 handicapped bathroom states shower chair and pull bars, neither were present. 2. Refrigerator and microwave were both filthy. 3 There was a pile of dirt on the floor look like someone swept it together, but didn't sweep it up. 4 filters on air conditioner / heater were filthy. 5 window seal filthy and sticky. 6. Pillows were smaller than the accent pillows I have on my sofa. Also advertised (a big point in my book) selling point for free breakfast called to confirm free breakfast prior to placing reservation was assured they still had it upon check-in was told they no longer do the free breakfast. check in: check in time is at 3:00 we arrived at the hotel at 3:30 was informed our room was still being cleaned, clearly that was a lie at 4:30 we were allowed to go up to our room. Last thing I am going to say but certainly not least, pool and hot tub were awesome and the reason I stayed... My only issue was no towels in pool area, and when we requested them was told "sry but people use like 5 for a small child", the staff member did go hunt some down but was clearly unhappy in having to do so. Just a suggestion, but many other hotels I have visited have gone to having them behind the desk and guest can request on the way to the pool, 1 per person. Needless to say spent way too much money on the room food from the only restaurant open was mediocre at best, didn't win a thing at the casino lost more money there as well all in all the trip was a complete loss if you ask me. Will not be returning!

The gaming floor was a mess, garbages overflowing. No toilet paper In the bathrooms. Where are the people that clean? I watched one of them walk around with a broom and dust pan but he wasn’t using it he was attempting to play the guitar. I think his name was Wyatt. I also over heard him giving a female security guard a hard time when she asked him politely to mop. He said it wasn’t his job, even though the floor was pitiful. He did absolutely nothing but talk to guests and employees. I feel awful for the other departments who actually work. We will not be returning. Even though we have been coming for years. Sad!!

By far the absolute worst place ever. Staff is the absolutely worst. Rude and condescending (that’s putting it nicely). NOT A PLACE FOR FAMILY. Beds are horribly uncomfortable. No place for breakfast or lunch. Kids can’t even go to the only open restaurant in the facility before 5 pm. Not even with parents. You will have to drive to a restaurant off property 15+ minutes for food. ALL VENDING MACHINES ARE EMPTY. Go ahead and stay here for an absolute miserable experience and stay.

The buffet was cheap for seniors but it was not great . No grilled food deserts was a brownie. Salad was lame. Lettuce pepperoni black olives and cucumber no ranch dressing. There barbecue beef shreaded was pretty good.gavr the money I saved to them at the slots . Hope there regular buffet is a lot better .
