Craig's Kitchen

What an absolutely lovely experience. We decided to try Craig's Kitchen just 30 minutes before closing fully expecting to have limited options but he proved us wrong. The fried chicken was fired up per order, the sides flavorful and steaming hot. Not only did the meal satisfy us physically, the experience was emotionally satisfying. Thank you for being a kind human being who share our love of little dogs 🐕 ❤

Food is absolutely amazing the drive is worth it. However I hope he will start having more in stock every time I go something is out always out. On the flip side, So glad he moved to a bigger spot and congrats on the one man show. Again food is amazing. I just hope food doesn’t keep running out. And I don’t think the fries should have bones in them. I was slightly disappointed in my last visit.

It was so nice to finally find some good food around here. I moved from Chicago, and it seems like a lot of restaurants in the area are not worth visiting twice. I will definitely be back to this one. We had: fried chicken, jerk chicken, cabbage, fried okra, black eyed peas, cornbread, and mac and cheese. All great. I look forward to trying more items on this pretty extensive menu.

It was our first time going there, Craig took our order. He was really sweet, very patient explain the difference in menu he was also accommodating because my pregnant daughter had all kinds of requests. Please support this restaurants. I truly recommend anyone going there not only for the food but just for the service it was exceptional!

Finally tried here tonight after wanting to go since it opened, and will 100% be back again. The food is phenomenal! I got a large combo so I could try quite a few things (jerk chicken, smothered pork chops, mac and cheese, collards, black eyed peas and corn bread) and have some leftovers for later. It was all amazing! The mac and cheese and jerk chicken were the best I’ve ever had. The smothered pork chops were so phenomenal I think they’re now one of my favorite foods. I would definitely recommend everyone to try here, 10/10!

Traveling through on the highway and stopped in because I wanted something to eat that wasn't just McDonalds or Burger King. This little hole in the wall served up the best jerk chicken I've had in years, and I felt the portions were more than generous. My only regret is that I found this place and don't live closer. Well worth the stop, and will be going back when in the area again.

I call this the best fried chicken in the north so I went down and met the owner. I was so impressed with his drive and that he gives so much back to the community. I honestly give this place 6 stars because he accommodated my special request with a smile. But it's really the sides that get me. Where else you get fried okra and greens?
