Country Grub

we went in today and was greeted with a friendly face, Zues G. at country grub knocked it out of the park! he was kind and friendly and answered all of my crazy questions and was able to take my order! the service was fast and the food was delicious. from start to finish he was able to take care of our needs 10/10. would recommend.

Service sucked really really bad... Burger was not cooked. Should have looked before I took two bites. "Disgusting" Lady took our order then had someone else bring the food then nobody ever came back to check on anything. No refills, No is your burger raw meat still, Nothing. Nobody cared. Actually the whole time I sat there waiting for a server to come by and check on us, none came out to check on anyone in the dining room and there was 3 people serving tables when we ordered. Get your order then they don't care situation. By the time we realized nobody was coming to check on us the rest of our group had finished and were ready to get out of there. So I didn't get to eat there. Bathrooms are outside and have no hot or warm water so things might not up to sanitary standards. Idk

Stopped in while driving through Vernal. The parking lot had several cars which is usually a good sign if the locals approve. To be fair, I may have come while they were busy or understaffed because the service took longer than expected. When my burger and fries did arrive the fries were somewhat soggy and cool while the burger was hot like it had just come off the griddle. Overall it was a decent burger but I’m not ranking it near the top of my “best burgers” list. I chose the Aussie burger which comes with a fried egg, bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and mayo. The egg was well cooked with a runny yolk, while the lettuce and other topping were cool and crisp. Props for that. The establishment was busy with dine-in, and take out guests the entire time I was there which was almost an hour so that tells me they must typically have great service and food. My experience was someone coming in off the highway for a quick and tasty bite but this visit I was left longing for a bit more.

We heard about this place in passing someone was recommended it to another patron at the hotel we were staying at. The burgers were good the fries were so good and my kids got a free ice cream after they finished eating. Great food great atmosphere definitely be a stop we will make when we are in the area again.

Friendly people, and delicious food. Exactly what one would expect from a mom and pop burger shop. I ordered the jalapeño cheeseburger combo and it was supreme. The fries are excellent. I'll be coming back. I'm not sure if they have vegetarian options, but it would be cool if they could offer a meat free patty

I don’t normally write reviews and if I could give zero stars I would. My family was visiting from out of town and ate at country grub on Saturday night. By Sunday morning we all had the worst food poisoning. We all ordered different thing, so it definitely had to be cross contamination from those preparing the food. Thankfully my 4 year old daughter decided not to eat there, so she wasn’t affected. It definitely made for a long 3 1/2-4 hour drive home on Sunday.
