Katie, was our waitress, and man, what a joy she was to visit with! Great customer service, with a smile. This is a little diner, with a big history! Straight out of Bobby socks Era, with a kick of American Graffiti! Love coming here! The food is amazing! Keep on rockin it!
Want to travel back in time ? This was a blast from the past. The food was great, burger could have been a little more done. The milk shakes/malts were great. The place was clean and staff very friendly. The decor was awesome. I loved the old music boxes at every table and they work! Location is inside Boomtown Casion, normally open 24 hours but now they close at midnight.
Eggs and a 1/2 lb hamsteak. Holy oink it was good. Served with potatoes and toast. Great coffee too.
My Omlete had alot of cheese and sour cream. It was abit much. The potatoes were dry but, my hubby had Ham, eggs and hash browns that he said was really good. Our waitress was super nice. The service was good and the restaurant way clean.
Oh I regret not taking pictures, the food is so good. The options are huge. 😋 & the staff is friendly ad super welcoming. I love it!! I can't wait to go back.. I have a picture of my tequila sunrise from the bar.. bahahahahaha

Oh my gosh, where do I start? This diner was the most genuine of olden day diner experiences.
For one, I must note that each table has their own jukebox for one quarter per song, AND THEY DO WORK LIKE A TRUE GEM!
What a great experience.
The food tasted wonderful, that homey old-time homemade kind of feel. The apple pie was also very flakey and had a wonderful crust. Hoping I can go again soon.
It's Mel's. Super nostalgic 60s style diner. Cute decor. It's always cold for me, so waiting for my order sucks. It's more expensive than other diners with this style. But no other concerns. Excellent service. Got there when they were closing in 30 minutes, was going to order it to-go..cute banter back and forth that had me seated and served in no time flat. Very gracious.
