Rich, creamy, herby, and anything under the sky to describe such a rich taste. This is my first experience of Indian cuisine and I loved it! Our server was extremely attentive and helpful when it came to our meals. To our surprise we were given a plate of food on the house! The entire experience was very calming and gave off such a healthy vibe. Only complaint from this would be the prices cause wow are they up there, arranging from 16.99 and up for a plate of curry that doesn’t come with rice on the side(sold separately). Even if the price is a bit up there I 100% recommend you introduce yourself into Indian cuisine here!
Food was great and staff was very friendly. Got the chicken curry combo/thali, medium spice. Spice level was not bad but will have to try it spicy next time. Maybe it was because I was alone or just not busy today, but they also gave me a complimentary appetizer, some channa masala+samosa dish, and also some kheer. Both were good, kheer was very well spiced.
Absolutely delicious food. I've been looking for some good Indian food for a while. We tried the lamb korma and it's so good, I can't recommend it enough. The sauce is full of flavor and the lamb is tender. We had it with the cumin rice and it works well together. We also got raita (yogurt) and if you get a spicy curry, I recommend getting the yogurt as it neutralizes the heat if you eat it with the curry and rice! The onion bhaji was delicious as well. We also got the cheese naan, which was interesting as it had cheddar cheese; it was good to dip in the korma. Next time, I'll try the garlic naan. Staff is nice, and they gave us a complimentary ginger lemonade and chickpea dish. It's a little pricey, but it's quality food.
Everything about this place is just SO, so good.
The staff are all extremely helpful, attentive, welcoming, and kind. Like seriously, everyone was clearing plates quickly and efficiently, great at understanding and recommending in light of food sensitivities and restrictions, and were all flawlessly friendly and polite.
Tons and tons of vegan and vegetarian options, which my family greatly appreciated.
Great prices for the lunch specials, and really big portions (our choices came with garlic naan, salad, and tons of rice!)
The ginger lemonade was sparkling and sweet and perfect
I had a favorite place in Sherman Oaks that I had frequented for years before trying this place, and now I fully intend on making this my new place! Hands-down the best Vegetable Masala I’ve ever had!
The service and the taste of food at this place will remain with us forever...The staff is quite friendly, welcoming and accommodating , served all our food with big smiles😃, we also got so many complimentary dishes like Aaloo Tikki with Chhole , Poppadoms with three different authentic chutneys in starters and Kheer (rice pudding ) in desserts. P.S. They have the best Mango Pickle which will remind of you of your childhood days in North 🇮🇳
And yes ask for Dahi Raita if you are ordering Aaloo Paranthas , so tasty 😋 and yes they gave us discount coupons for our next visit 😍
Our recommendation 5/5 😀
The lamb Naan was amazing and green spicy sauce was perfect , great service , the waiter even saved us 5$ on our check
This place is so good! We ate all of our food quickly and forgot to take pictures, but we're very happy with the experience as you can see from my smiling huaband. Hard to believe that the service is even better the food! Staff is always so kind and professional. It feels good to pay money and feel good about it. Highly recommend
This is incredible Indian food! Not cheap, but not too crazy. I wish I lived closer to Ventura...I'd go here all the time! Plus the owner for no good reason gave us a few complementary plates to try. That's old school good business! Check it out!
